So, this TV is amazing! I went into best buy told them exactly what I wanted and they pointed me in the direction of this TV. I am so super stoked that I didn't skimp on the TV at all, I mean after all I have to stare at it every time I want entertainment right? I might as well love what I'm looking at. The picture quality is like no other. The style is sleek and thin and isn't bulky it doesn't take a lot of room up. It also has a very nice stand that comes with it if you don't want to hang it on the wall. It is a smart TV with all the additional options. You wont be disappointed!

I got a sweet deal when I picked up this PlayStation 4 and TV combo for a thousand bucks! I had a two year old Sony 55 inch 4K television and a three-year-old Sony 7.1 surround sound receiver. Both supported 4K but they had a lot of problems when trying to display a picture with 4k on the PlayStation 4 Pro. When I picked up the xbr55700d and the ps4 pro, I also grabbed the str-dh770. I got home, hope everything up and so far everything is functioning the way it should. The picture on the television it looks awesome. With all three of these things connected, the PlayStation shows in 4K resolution with full HDR. This is something that a lot of people have been having so I can confirm that the PlayStation 4 Pro will work with the xbr55700d and strdh770. The only thing you need to be aware though is that out the box certain features are not enabled so you must go into the TV and the receiver and adjust the HDMI settings to enhanced to get the full 4K and HDR experience from the PlayStation 4 Pro.

I found myself in need of a replacement TV for my family room. started looking at multiple manufactures for 4K quality , features, specifically number of HDMI inputs, no other set matched the features I was looking for or the picture quality of the Sony. I started shopping at a lower price point 499 to 599 range, I did not see any in that range that filled my requirements. The Bravia Sync also controls my Sony HT-CT150 sound bar I purchased about 5 years ago ... The XBR-55X700D was on sale for a little more...I decided I have sold Sony products in the past.... so I stepped myself up and purchased the Sony product I've always wanted.... Excellent picture quality... Great Price.

My first smart TV - I like the size and picture. It's nice to have Netflix and Pandora built-in but there are a few differences I wasn't prepared for. *Changing chanels is slow. *If the auto program doesn't find a chanel, you can't force it. Using an antenna, sometimes you have rotate antenna for specific chanel, which doesn't work with auto-program. *It doesn't replace Roku as there are only a few apps and you can't add chanels that Sony hasn't picked for you. I've seen several complaints about the remote but I have just a couple: *Four buttons are small and uncomfortable to use. *TV instructions explain voice control but the remote doesn't have a mic. I've seen no explanation to upgrade. *There are four colored buttons but no instructions on using them. In all, I'm glad I purchased it. Wall-mounting means less furnature - Making our room seem larger. I'm not sure that 4k looks any different to me though.

What I hate about a TV purchase is not the cost. I don't love spending money, but most of us see the modern television as a "life essential". At a time when going to theaters is an expensive, crowd-bearing experience, the modern TV - now integrated with our WiFi, cell phone, photo albums, cameras, games, music, video collections - is actually high quality entertainment for relatively less than what a color TV cost 40 years ago. But I HATE setting up new electronics! It requires the worst that life demands of us: reading and following instructions! I'm not alone, but apparently Sony has heard the cries of my people. I did it myself; the instructions are mostly pictures, and to my wife's surprise, I can't complain. The assembly is well thought out and user friendly. The new 55" 4K Smart LED (UltraHD)/HD is amazing, and it practically synced and integrated its own set-up with my WiFi and PC before I even attempted it. It's really hard to find something to complain about. And I'm 66!

This smart led 4K, 2160p, television is excellent for the price. The color is excellent, the setup was easy, attaching my soundbar, DVD, router was so simple. We are extremely pleased. The 55 inch size was the same as the one we replaced and the first thing everyone notices is the excellent color. We are extremely pleased.

I had been looking at some of the less expensive TV's, and then I found this. The picture quality is the best I have seen. The less expensive TV's exaggerate the contrast so much the picture doesn't look natural. I noticed some cons in other reviews, but i don't have any. WiFi is great, and the remote does what it's supposed to do. Sony has cool phone app remote that works well if you don't like the included one. I have used it and a Logitech Harmony along with the one that's included, and they all work just fine. As some reviewers have already stated, the setup couldn't be easier. Even the sound is pretty good. It's not a full blown home theater, but until I move to my new house and have time to set up my sound system it will suffice.

The Sony was not my first choice. WhenI saw the Sony picture and experienced the depth of color my decision was made. Mounted the set on the wall and added a Yamaha sound bar. What a TV experience

Love my TV, like what was mentioned before in reviews, the TV stand was annoying to figure out and assemble. Vague instructions for it and functionality of the TV. There should be more comprehensive manuals for both TVs and cell phones. Very happy with the TV picture and sound quality and would definitely purchase again and recommend it to others. Just recently the SAFE MODE message showed up on the bottom left hand side of the picture, would love to know what it means and how to get rid of the annoying message. Doesn't appear to effect the functionality of the TV!

Purchased this model based upon reviews of this product as well as others. I compared various makes and models and chose this one because of comments here. I must admit I was concerned about setup after finding a lack of documentation. But turning the TV on and following the setup steps it went flawless. Great picture and sound is adequate. Plenty of inputs to connect newer as well as our older electronics. Our Tivo remote adapted and controls basic functions. Very satisifed after a week of use.

Bought this after reading reviews, I really wanted a TV that had HDR to play ps4 in 4k. I also wanted a 60hz screen, but i went for HDR since the pricepoint was garbage. I am very happy with this TV, but I wish it had a more high tech remote control.

Got this TV as part of a bundle. My son got the game console and I got this TV. Really impressed with the picture, especially the the way it handles motion when watching sports. I'm also surprised at the sound quality. Lots of setting tweaks to be played with yet but out of the box the picture is sharp and the colors great. FYI - Sony released a firmware update on 11/16/16.

Great Tv. You have to pair it up with a great device to get the full 4k tech. I have mine paired up with the Roku Premier + and monster 4k hdmi and WOW....Even upscaled stuff looks amazing.

Paid $799.99 for this TV and $99 extra for 2yr best buy warranty.. Easy to connect and use SmartTV feature. Stand is sturdy and easy to put on. Have surround sound hooked up thru optical port, sounds great. Don't hesitate to purchase

Wanted a larger tv that had new features. It has a built in tuner so no need for a directv receiver box now. Has Netflix on remote so no need for roku. Has a wonderful picture.So glad the reviews helped me decide on this tv.

I've always wanted to own a Sony TV and I believe I made the right choice for my budget. The screen color is vibrant and the sound is clear. The only problem I had out of the box was connecting my Nexus 6p to the TV for screen mirroring. But it eventually connected and I have not had a problem since.

I got this T.V. on sale and I am very happy with my purchase. The picture quality is incredible, only downside about this T.V. is the audio but it's fine because a sound system can fix that

I just purchased the TV and am very satisfied. Android TV works very quickly and is nicely set up for entertainment. The picture quality is really great and not overly saturated. My only qualm is the edge-lit LEDs. The blacks aren't as deep as they could be and there is some clouding around one of the corners from the edge LED's. Overall it has a much more balanced and natural picture than the competing samsung KU7000 though and I am happy with my decision to purchase this one instead.
