Plus uses 1/4 of the watts. Plasma was 50" this one is 55" and still has room on the sides to meet the 4" clearance requirement without changing the cabinet.

Wireless does not give me the picture a direct connection does.

The smart feature finds the HD channels of the matching non-HD program without me knowing those channel numbers. This is a really nice feature.

The screen is still vivid and stunning. But I decided to return and pay twice as much for the x900e which has premium features. This is still an outstanding entry level 4k HDTV.

The 850 has so much more clarity and the motion is Smooth. It was a great price at 899.00.

The downside has been that it would lose the WiFi connection sporadically, such that it would require unplugging and replugging the maim power cord to resolve. Then a Geek Squad service rep. had me perform a factory reset, and I haven't had a problem with it since then.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv chose this over a Samsung in same range in quality and price however the motion blur seems to be better at this price point for all competition you defenately need to manually adjust colors and brightness but that's for all TVs they need to be calibrated. The apps work seemlessly the control I'm not a fan of but I control with my harmony.

The Samsung failed after a couple years and no parts were available. I'm back to Sony in the family room. It joins the Sony in my bedroom 14 years and still running strong.
