Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Default picture settings are more than accurate for my liking it keeps it starts raining to be when app streams in Dolby vision is switches to it or hdr10 it's an automatic switch it does happen Netflix mode which you can turn on and off to your liking I prefer it some people in the review channels don't but that's my preference overall I think it's a great TV I give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars only because I'm not convinced on the whole sound coming out of the picture it sounds good but overtime I wonder if it'll mess with picture

I adjusted the TV per Consumer Reports' recommendation. If you have a 4K/UHD disc player, then you will notice a major improvement over standard Blu-Ray discs. While I use a 5.1 AVR system for audio, the built-in speakers on the Sony sounded pretty good. Just remember to avoid static images with this, or any other OLED TV set. Once the picture settings are properly set-up, then picture quality is outstanding, even with lower resolution video sources.

The picture quality is excellent and the "smart features" work well. We thought that this would be a good TV for the money before the sale price based on our previous experience with Sony but the additional price reduction made this an easy choice. The picture quality and features exceeded our expectations. We decided to use the Geek Squad for the installation and are glad we did. Very professional job at a reasonable price.

With a 4K source (or standard HD) the picture quality is outstanding. Blu-ray upscales nicely as do most over the air broadcasts. The sound quality is surprisingly good as well. The Android OS is fine, the interface runs smoothly. Don’t use it a lot, the main source being a streaming box via HDMI. Haven’t done a lot of gaming on it, but I think that for those other than hard core gamers it would be fine. I would recommend this TV highly.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.(As far as I know) this is Sony's bottom-of-the-line OLED TV - i.e. it lacks whatever distinguishes the "upper" models - but does what one wants a TV to do - it has an extraordinary picture, without all the bells and whistles that mean nothing. I've only had it for a month, but so far, so good. I DID run into a little problem: pausing a movie to go do something, when I returned it had no sound for the 'apps'. A call to Sony told me to reset the TV - i.e. unplug it for 30 secs., and all was restored.

With BFI, Sony is strong in motion clarity department as well with it being already king at motion handling. Amazing still and motion pictures alike. There's 120 BFI and then there's 60 BFI as your fallback for 60FPS locked games if you don't mind flickers. This TV is all about BFI. Sony, no contest, if BFI and/or motion handling is important to you. For reference, there is BFI in LG TVs but never outside of game mode with Gsync disabled. I've had pleasant playing games on it, the input lag is still very good. Then the movie watching is where it's best at. The boot time and menu is fast too!

The difference between oled and led is very noticeable. Not only the pixel clarity is enhanced but the Sony processing is second to none. Yes Sony does use LG’s display panels but the Sony processing chip makes all the difference. In addition the image quality is better than the Qled tv. You will not be disappointed in this purchase.
