I immediately noticed the difference in SD and HD content. I feel like the Sony upscaler is just better overall. 4K content is about the same on both. I do prefer the LG UI over the Sony one though. I ended up just hooking up a AppleTV to keep it simple.

It surpassed my expectations. If you're looking at connecting next-gen gaming consoles or a gaming PC to it, however, I'd recommend going for the LG CX as it has some features that gamers will appreciate. For pure picture quality when watching TV/movies, however, I believe the A8H is the winner.

Bought for a family member, but if I needed a new TV right now, I would definitely buy this again. It's like the actors are in your living room and you can REALLY see their skin condition. Sound is just as great. First experience with an OLED tv and the choice was right on.

Of course you are also paying for what you are getting but if you watch a lot of tv then it's worth it. Oather big screen TVs we've had have failed after a few short years. It remains to be seen how long this one will last without problems. Consider taking out and extended warranty.

Best TV I have ever owned. Definitely will keep buying Sony Oleds. Picture is amazingly perfect, it comes pre-calibrated out of the box but I have made some tweaks here and there and sound is also excellent ! You won’t be disappointed.

The size is perfect for my living room. I am older and vision is not what it used to be. I can read what is on the screen easily. I am not a football fan, but Whoa! We do not use the TV for gaming bit for movies from the DVD player the TV is outstanding. we did not purchase a sound bar and quite honestly have not seen the need for one, played the Blue Ray version of Avitar and both picture and sound quality were awesome. Highly recommend.

The picture and sound quality is second to none. Sony’s superior image processing makes it better than other OLEDs and you can’t compare OLEDs to LED. I am also impressed with the integrated speakers and its one of the only TVs that you really don’t need a sound bar.

I think the color reproduction and picture quality is excellent, I know the newer versions have better processing but I think most people would not be able to tell. its ultra thin and is beautiful in any room.
