    Our best television purchase in years. The color, clarity and sound system is superior to virtually any set currently on the market. We tend to stay current with our primary television and are extremely pleased with this et, which offers optical digital connectivity to a headphone set equipped with this capability.

    This TV has excellant picture quality and is an attestment of OLED technology. The contrast between the black and color makes for accurate real life images. The sound quality is excellant and does not need an extra add on home theater system. I would definitely recommend stepping up to this level of TV.

    Still learning more about it's availabilities of things it can do, however extremely pleased with it picture quality and performance of this Sony. However I've learned through trying other brands, that it's worth paying the extra for the picture quality and performance for a Sony TV.

    I’ve long had Sony TVs as my preference but recently bought a home with a high end Samsung left behind. Despite connectivity problems with the Samsung, the picture quality is no comparison. Add on we bought this for $800 off during Best Buy’s “deal of the day,” it was a no brainier!

    I spent a few weeks doing research and decided to upgrade to OLED TV. I ended up between this TV and LG. I'm so glad and happy with my selection. I love the audio projecting from the screen. Sounds amazing and saved me from added cost of sound bar. The picture is superb. You won't go wrong.

    I owned a Samsung TV previously, but wanted an OLED. Looked at the LG and Sony OLED 55” models. Even though the Sony was a bit more expensive, I chose it for the features, operating system, available apps and compatibility with my other components. It was very easy to set up and I’m very pleased with it.

    Travis from Geek squad did a great job setting up my Harmony remote and correcting problems from the original installation. He explained everything thoroughly and in an understandable way. I also purchased the 55 inch Sony OLED TV which has a great picture and is perfect for a darker setting like the basement.

    Rarely does a tech product amaze you these days. But this TV does. It's truely amazing. The picture quality is simply out of the world. There simply is no competition to OLED technology. Micro-dimming, increasing number dimming zones, blah blah blah are simpley fool's errands.

    Excellent picture quality. Only drawback is that being this expensive, it doesn’t have a mic in the TV. You will have to press the remote button for OK google detection. I thought the OK google detection should be there by default (similarly to Sony 950G models) being the TV one of the top end TVs.

    Excellent TV. I also have an LG CX and the were very comparable with the exception to the hdmi 2.1 available on the CX for gaming. But when watching any streaming service, Sling, Netflix, Apple TV, Disney +, Amazon prime, HBO Max, and Hulu; this TV made them all look great!

    The Sony A8H provides excellent picture quality with the OLED. This television is great for watching movies and sports. The Android TV platform is user friendly and it runs smoothly. I bought this television on sale and I would have still been very satisfied if I had bought this at regular price.

    Oled is a fantastic Technology and sony really puts it to good use with its processing. however, be aware that if you stream a lot or watch lower-quality content OLED tends to expose some of those flaws more aggressively than other TVs. I still think it looks great and would recommend it to others.

    The picture quality of this tv is amazing. The clarity and motion are fantastic. Caught this on sale for 1200 and feels like a steal. I have told my friends about it. A little different from my sony A8G but very similar as well. Stellar picture quality on both sets.

    Love this TV!! The colors pop and the sound is the best of any TV I have yet. It cost a little more but was totally worth it. My LG TV was a nice 4K LED TV but during the day watching a night scene was just unacceptable. I'd have to guess what was happening. No I see just fine!

    The Sony 55" A8H TV is perfect for our living room. It was an easy pickup process from the store and self installation at home. The vivid colors and deep blacks make it a pleasure to watch movies, sports and even black and white movies. Got it on Deal of the Day which made it an even better buy.

    I bout this siny iled open box for 1300$ put it up on the wall mount hooked it up and looked amazing the best I seen in a TV watched some TV with my kids and out of no where the TV just turns off and starts blinking red so I unplugged it for 2nins I press power button the TV turns on for 3 seconds and turns off I tied to figure what was on for an hour nothing so I returned it and best buy in moreno valley didn't want to give me a new for the same price I paid

    Mind blowing picture setting straight out of the box. My first Sony and my first OLED. Wish I had purchased the 65in. The only drawback is that the power cord is not removable on the 55in. I don’t plan on moving the TV from it current hung position, so it shouldn’t be an issue.
