The picture is beyond comparison, and the features are awesome. We have been looking for an OLED tv for a while and this one was on too good of a sale to pass up. Our ONLY complaint (and this is less with the TV itself and more with Sony in general) is that we can't access our Xfinity cable app on the TV. Sony currently does not support a relationship with Xfinity which means we have to cast everything we want to watch live, or use our other tv.

The picture far exceeds that of any other TV I’ve ever owned but not to say some things couldn’t be improved on. For one the remote is cheap feeling and not what I would expect from Sony. Then the lack of HDMI 2.1 for future PS5 would have been nice. Allot has been said about the legs but for me that’s not an issue, I like them and the ease to install. Overall I’m happy with the A8H so two thumbs up SONY

I think better, and earlier, warning about not laying it down for travel and clearer warnings about how to remove from the box are in order. Hooked to a Direct TV box easily. Sound is fine without a sound bar - look at one if you need to fill a big room, in which case I'd recommend a 75".

Best of the OLEDs for Video content

There is much confusion about the HDMI versions and concerns about compatibility. For this reason, we do not promote the HDMI versions incorporated on many of our products. Instead of HDMI version numbers, we advertise the features of a product that are associated with a particular HDMI version. The important thing to know is that the newer HDMI versions are backward-compatible with the older HDMI versions. Therefore, you can connect products with the different HDMI versions to one another and still get the picture and sound.
