    My problem with this TV is that it's really not too smart! Well maybe it's me. I have a fire stick on another TV and it works fine. I have yet another TV on Roku and it works fine. This Android is constantly loosing the signal where the others don't. The Android is constantly sending me to channels that require a subscription, the others a lot less frequently. But when I final get a signal the picture is a 10! And that's a good thing!

However, Sony does not have control over what apps will be suggested by Google. You may choose the free ones instead.

    This is an amazing TV! I went to Best Buy knowing that I needed to replace my old and dying Panasonic. Thank goodness for the exceptionally knowledgeable associate, Nate. I purchased this, a Bose soundbar and a corner console stand. I'm extremely pleased with my purchases and the great Geek Squad!

  • Very solid TV, but needs a lot of adjustments

    Overall this is a very solid TV. The main thing that is keeping me from giving it a 5-star rating is the fact that I am still having some issues with getting digital artifacts on some shots of detailed buildings etc. This could be something that can be remedied in the settings, but I have yet to get it straightened out. Sometimes I turn the TV on and it looks fantastic, but other times it looks overly bright, That is fixable through the adjustments, but is not a problem I have encountered on any of my other TVs.

    While still an amazing TV I went into bestbuy for the best gaming tv where I can also get 4K @ 120Hz. I was shown the Sony A8H and while not having 4K 120Hz I was sold on the visual I seen. When watching movies or TV shows it’s a amazing but due to the fact I was lied to I still have to find a new gaming tv. But overall the Sony A8H is very decent. But there are many other better options when spending $2000 on a TV.
