The look of the tv was very nice, setup was easy. I was a long term Samsung customer before this, first sony tv. After setting up picture and sound preferences and having the tv in my house for a week, I was really disappointed in the picture quality, even watching 4k shows, I just had a higher expectation of what I was going to see. It was really hard for me to see a big difference between this tv and my older Samsung. So i packaged everything back in the box and returned to Bestbuy.

Fuzzy picture, setup frustration, red faces

This one constantly shows the pixels trying to present the screen. Depending on the show, the faces get too pink. The LG I got before was less expensive and so easy to set up, finding my cable box. I had to be specific with the model to find it on this Sony. Luckily I found it on my providers site. There is no return list unless you give it the exact search info so was pretty frustrated by the time I got it up and running. After the first week I totally lost sound on it and had to blast the setup back to out of the box and start over to get it back. I did like that I could remove the legs to the tv stand and fight it into a taller setting so I could put my sound bar in front of it. The sound bar is a Sony and it disappointed me as well

You access Vewd (Opera) Browser on your Android TV and be able to navigate the mouse pointer. For low sound issue, check the Volume Offset setting in the menu and increase it to the maximum value. If you have an audio system connected, check that both the connected device and the speaker are turned on and the volume is turned up. The Digital audio out volume level on your TV may be the cause of low volume from your audio device. Check if the [Digital audio out volume] setting of the TV is at maximum. Press the HOME button, then select: [Settings] — [Display & Sound] — [Audio output] — [Digital audio out volume].

The picture quality is good, that I can’t deny. But the speed it loads apps is horrible. Plus pretty much every app I have crashes on this tv’s platform. Disney plus, peacock, paramount, hbo max. I keep having to either “restart”, clear cache, or unplug it. This tv cost too much for these types of problems, and my tv is only 2 months old!
