Hi AvgTechUser, we are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with the Sony - 55" Class BRAVIA 8 OLED, we understand that it may be really frustrating to deal with a TV restarting, especially while you are enjoying your content, this is definitely not the experience we want you to have. We would like to suggest some steps and settings you can try to solve this problem: 1 - Disable Bravia Sync settings, you can go to Settings > channels and inputs > external inputs > Bravia sync settings > turn it off. 2- Turn off Samba interactive TV, go to Settings > system > samba interactive Tv. 3- Turn on Simple IP control, you can get there through settings > network and internet > home network > IP control > simple IP control. 4- Make sure you tv has the latest software version.

We are very sorry to hear that the TV shut off unexpectedly during a critical moment due to a software update, and we understand how frustrating that can be, especially during gameplay. We highly recommend checking your TV's settings under Settings > System > Software Update and ensuring that Automatic software downloads is set to Off and that Automatic software update is also set to Off or Confirmation. This will prevent unscheduled restarts and allow you to initiate updates manually at a convenient time. We're happy to hear that outside of this issue, the 120fps performance on your BRAVIA 8 OLED for the PS5 Pro is fantastic and worth it.

Reflections on the TV screen can sometimes occur when there are strong light sources, such as lamps or windows, positioned behind the main viewing area. This is a common characteristic for many flat-screen televisions, as the screen may reflect ambient lighting in the room.

To help minimize this effect, you can try a few adjustments:

- Position the TV so it faces away from direct light sources.
- Adjust the lighting in your room, reducing strong lights directly behind your viewing position.
- Use curtains or blinds to control sunlight if the TV is opposite a window.
- If possible, use lower-brightness or indirect lighting in the area behind the TV.
