This is despite changing all of the settings to NOT auto turn off. I've seen it randomly turn on, too. This is despite not having the TV microphone on (I left the manual switch off for now). (key note: house probably not haunted).

The other has had Wi-Fi stability issues from Day 1. It is being replaced at no cost by Best Buy. The built in sound system ain’t the same as home theatre surround, but if unless you are an “audiophile” the built in sound is very very good!

The vocal focusing feature as someone who is hard of hearing is really good. Helps boost the sounds of voices in shows and movies something I typically have to rely on subtitles for, I can hear with a lot more clarity. 10/10 would recommend. One critique I would say is that it did take me a bit to get the sound working properly on my PS5, but I imagine that was as a result of my own ignorance than a flaw with the TV. Also make sure you’re using a good cable. Spend the money on a quality HDMI.

It was delivered to my house on time as promised. The controls took a little time to get use to but I managed. I had to call Best Buy for assistance but they couldn’t figure out the problem but scheduled a technician at no cost to me. The technician figured out the problem really quick. It was a piece of wood blocking the signal from the controller. A little slide over of the cable box and problem solved. Best Buy was super to work with and they took excellent care of this customer.

I am an avid video gamer and movie watcher. This is the best quality television I have ever seen. Coming from an LG OLED the colors pop on this thing. I only use streaming boxes on my tv's but the software on this one is smooth and snappy. The sound is great as well.

The picture quality of the Sony is significantly better than that of all the other televisions we looked at. We ordered online, picked it up in the store, and everything was seamless! For the past 20 years I have always had top of the line LED TV'S (Panasonic, and Sony BRAVIA). OLED has change everything about watching just cable TV channels, movies on TNT, FX, BBC, USA all channels and even local CBS, NBC, FOX and WKRN are amazing Color are so realistic ounce you find your perfect settings and straight-out the box is great, but I just had to make a few changes. Streaming is very fast because of the processor Sony uses in this TV. 4k UHD content unbelievable for me because of coming from LED was just not as bright and deep in colors to perfection like OLED. Now I do have to mention that my last Sony X90L 55 inch just went out on me after 5 years and 2 months (I had a 5-year warranty) this will be my last Sony if It has anything go wrong with it!!!

Is it as good as the LG or Samsung OLED’s? I don’t know, but I’ve always had Sony TV’s and they have been so dependable over the years, I wind up passing my older ones down to my kids. Sound from the set’s speakers is adequate for now, especially for dialog, but I will need to purchase a soundbar for Dolby Atmos surround and for much deeper bass. So far, I am pleased.

I have this in our gaming room and mostly used for gaming and some streaming and it truly does not dissapoint. This is a well-rounded OLED TV that delivers excellent performance without the premium price of flagship models. While it's still a little on the pricier side (at least when I purchased it), it provides the deep black levels and outstanding contrast OLEDs are known for, along with a range of calibrated modes for streaming services. Its color accuracy and impressive HDR performance make it a great option for both movie lovers and everyday viewing. With its blend of performance and value, the Sony B8 easily earns my Top Choice for 2024.

Best Buy is going down hill

But I can come here and disgrace them. They introduced Total Tech Membership a few years back. It was amazing. Since it's inception they have been doing everything they can to take away from it. It's not as amazing anymore. My 2nd gripe is that they got rid of the gaming program. For the membership you could get 20 percent of brand new games. Another amazing program that they killed. I wonder when Best Buy will stop pooping on its customers. My 3rd gripe is their handling of pokemon cards. Do better Best Buy. Sincerely, a customer who wants to love you but you keep charging me for replacement plans I already paid for. P.S. Shoot me that 4 hundo for my amazing review and long history of supporting your poop tactics

I have 2 TVs in my living room so I can watch multiple sporting events at once and this replaced a 2016 model that still has a good picture, but couldn't handle some of the newer apps well (I gave that one to a neighbor). Great picture, but the TV has a couple of issues

Therefore, I purchased another Sony. This one has a great picture, but the TV locked up on me within two weeks of purchasing it. The remote control wouldn't do anything to address this (it didn't work). I had to unplug the TV and then plug it back in to reset it. I also have experienced the issue of NexGen channels showing up as a black screen (with audio) on a number of occasions. Changing channels doesn't fix the issue, nor does turning the TV off and then back on. Only unplugging the TV and then plugging it back in corrects the problem each time. This is disappointing for what I feel is one of the top TV brands on the market.
