I’m still playing around with the settings and haven’t gotten it right yet. For this price point, I would say wait for a sale. I’m still team “Sony”.

Everything is fuzzy. There are no true whites - all whites are displayed as light blue-gray. The sound is awful. I was impressed when I learned of the sound that is embedded into the screen. It seemed to be incredible in the store display. But the reality of the sound in my home is that the sound sounds literally like it is coming out of an empty tin can. Don't be misled by the tech professionals (and their online tech-centric reviews) and the gorgeous 4K store displays. This is a huge waste of money for the average consumer who uses this television to watch network broadcasts. One further note: Unless you have an enormous television stand, this television will not fit using the included legs. Ridiculous stand design!

Have bought from Best Buys since.

So the first tv died within warranty. The replacement died sooner than expected. We go another Sony because we like the brand and rodicts but our patience is wearing thin. The picture this time was too vivid bright and contrasty. Not sure if it was factory setting or Geek Squad installer thinking we’d be more impressed with a picture that looks like a video game. Sony remote does not control our Bose sound bar. Did Bose fail to pay a fee? Anyway, we are optimistic that the tv will fine. We’re not fussy but we expect quality.
