Upgraded from a five year old 4K (Non-HDR) TV and it’s night and day. Black blacks, white whites, everything just pops and looks great. PS5 looks absolutely stunning on it, runs at 120hz natively. Everything I was looking for and then some, my wife just said not a day goes by where I don’t talk about how good it looks.

However, the picture is extremely good and so are the movie channels. The X90k is a gamers dream. Every bell and whistle is there. For a mid level TV Sony has done a great job with the X90k. I would highly recommend the X90k for its brilliant picture, gaming compatibility,and price.

We also utilize a sound bar. The light and contrast are amazing. Every time we sit down as a family to watch, somebody always makes a comment about how good the picture looks. There is a HUGE difference between 60hz and 120hz. The team at Sony did a fantastic job with this one. We couldn't be happier with this TV.

Nice TV but high-pitched ringing sound an issue

I am not using a sound bar or an A/V receiver, so I was pretty impressed. The only issue I'm having is a high-pitched ringing sound coming from the back of the TV whenever I stream content from the pre-installed Apps, such as Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime. The ringing goes away when I switch to devices connected to the HDMI ports. Very strange. I'm in talks with Sony to figure out a solution. I may need to exchange the TV if it can't be fixed. I'm hoping this isn't something the consumer has to accept with this TV because no other previous Sony smart TV I owned had this issue.
