We love our new tv

Ours just quit and we luckily were back up and had new tv within a couple days. This TV has an incredible way of installing by attaching the bracket before having to lift it above the fireplace. re sound we have an external sound bar and sub woofer.

I can't get the brightness level on movie playback adjusted to what I'm used to seeing. I had 3 Samsung TVS prior to this Sony and the movie playback level was brighter.

Not for Gaming

They issue is that Sony had a mandatory update today, January 7, 2023, that negatively has impacted the game mode and the input lag went from 15 prior to the update to now 70. As long as you don’t want to use this for gaming, we can highly recommend it. Prior to this update it was also great for gaming and now it is useless for that and there is nothing we can do. We have only owned the TV for 2 months and now need to buy a different TV. If you are looking for a gaming TV look at other options. If you are looking for a great TV for anything but gaming, this is a great TV.

Very "SMART" tv

The only drawback I've found is some of the features are hard to find and or use. Very little instructions come with the tv. Sony is still a desirable product, though.

It’s fine, but not able to attach a sound system

My complaint is the lack of input/outputs. This was purchased as a gift along with a really nice sound bar but there’s no optical port. Had to jimmy rig the system and can still only use the sound system when watching another source.

The X90L has certain limitations when it comes to input and output options, which can cause inconvenience for users wishing to connect additional audio equipment. Flicking screen

Try changing the picture mode to Game, Graphics, or Photo mode, as these modes are less likely to cause flickering. If the issue persists, performing a factory reset on your TV might help.
