Awesome picture at a great price. Was going to buy a Samsung but the picture on this one with the Full Array lighting is so much better.

Purchased this TV after returning a Samsung MU8000. Could not be happier. At the time of purchase this was $200 more than the Samsung, but is well worth it. Motion handling is excellent, something I was very disappointed with on the Samsung. Upscaling is great, even 720p looks good, which is something all other 4K tv's that I have seen have trouble with. The only con is Android TV, which can be slow and laggy, but still gets the job done if needed. Obviously this will not be a problem if you have a separate streaming device.

This was an upgrade to 4K for us. There hasn't been anything that we've watched, that I haven't loved the picture. Having read reviews that panned (pretty much every) TV sound, we bought a compatible sound bar. As such, I can't speak to the built in speakers.

This is my second Sony HDTV and love it. The picture is excellent and the "smart" options are great. I also like the built-in Chromecast.

my wife and i decided to purchase a Sony 55" 4K for our Christmas. This is the best TV ever. the sound and picture quality is outstanding.

Excellent picture, had a 50 in. & exchanged it for this much better aTV, you can’t beat a Sony & the only brand TV we will ever buy.

We finally let go of our beloved plasma TV after we helped our kids set up a 65" version of this TV that they got for themselves for Christmas. We weren't sure we'd be happy with the switch, but we're loving it. Still working out the kinks with DirecTv Ready -- but that's an issue on the DirecTv end with the lan connection not holding. Once we iron that out, we'll really be set, though. 4K UHD is still fairly new, but we are now ready to enjoy all it has to offer as more stations and movies come online in the years ahead.

Really easy to set up and the picture quality is by far the best I’ve ever see. Glad I broke down and finally got a new tv well worth it.

I have no problem with this TV one of the best ones that I have owned to this date along with the sound bar that I purchased with it.

I had my doubts about these because headphones like these always fall out of my ears.... These stay in and have pretty awesome sound quality! They pair perfectly with my Apple Watch and iPhone to make listening to music/switching songs very simple!!

The TV is great, good picture. However, it disconnects from the internet pretty often, which is annoying.

Very happy with the picture quality. Even in a brightly lit room, very clear with minimal glare.

Very nice Tv with good clear and bright picture...good for a couple of seniors with less than 20-20 vision. I do wish Sony and others could do a better job of synchronizing sound & pictures so audio would better match up with pictures of talking heads.

Clarity was good when I compared with 800D, auto adjustment feature was good

For less than 1000 dollars, this TV exceeded my expectations. It has a great picture, and allows calibration to your specific likes.

Admittedly, I am not a TV connoisseur...yet this one is great. Image looks good. Nice size and not overwhelming in my great room.

My 3ed Sony 4k television. This one is the best. Feed is Directv., Picture is outstanding. Sound good. Works well with Sony 4k DVD player.

Looked over and over, finally decided to get Sony 55" 900E over 65" 850E...picture was too much better to pass up for same price.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I put my money on this one. If you want a better picture, get an OLED and pay a thousand more.
