This TV has an amazing picture from all angles. The blacks are incredible and it does excellent in daylight. Highly recommend. You may want to pair it with a sound bar. No regrets here.

I did quite a bit of research and visited Best Buy numerous times to actually compare picture quality. I was trying to get a 4k for under $1000 and while it looked like there were some nice options I kept going back to the Sony 900 E at about 40% above where I wanted to be. It rivaled anything except for the OLED's which started at nearly double the price of the 900e. I have had the TV now for over 4 months and have not encountered a single problem. The picture is FANTASTIC! Viweing angles and sound are excellent. Set-up was easy - did it myself and was watching in less than an hour. Wish the remote was lit - but not a big deal. VERY HAPPY!

Bought this after enjoying my 40" SONY for about 8 years of trouble free terrific picture quality and deciding it would never wear out so gave it to a grandson and upscaled to the 55". After the nice install job by the Geek Squad it has performed better than even I had expected. The reviews were important as well as they bore out what I had already expected from my personal experience. I have a surround sound ceiling and YAMAHA drivers so cannot comment on the TV's sound. My system is really fantastic and the color tones are spot on. I have not tried to improve the settings as they seem to be perfect as-is. Great Christmas present for us.

It is the best value for that price . I was enjoying 4K hdr movie with sharp details . Note : if you are going for Apple TV with it then make sure you have the 48Gb/s HDMI cable

Owned a number of Sony TV's in the past; however, This is the best Sony I have ever owned. The 900 series Picture and color quality are excellent. Easy to set up and easy to use.

I think is best on its class for a non Oled tv. Very reasonable $$, great value 4K tv, HDR and smart Tv. I highly recommended

We had a Sony Bravia previously and loved that, so I bought another. I am very satisfied with the sharp picture and beautiful colors. Everyone that sees my tv is impressed

Colors are very good and black is great. Does have some issues with fast action, skips some. Does have screen glare with bright room condition. Using Amazon tv or YouTube has a problem even with a Netgear Nighthawk wireless router on 5G connection. I am using a Blu-ray player for these. Overall ok.

So many other reviewers break it down better than I can. We're not serious hardware (or even TV) experts. My family mostly watches movies—BluRay and DVD and, increasingly, streamed. Compared to the decade-old 32" LG we watched until it would go no more, this screen is incredibly crisp, lively, vivid, and (of course) BIG. And the occasional news and sporting event (via indoor HD antenna, not cable) is engaging and alive. A month along in our viewing, we have no regrets. TVs have come a long way!

I have several 4k/hdr enabled tvs and the colors and brightness on this tv are on par or better than the bigger more expensive sets. This is the tv i have setup in the game room with an xbox one x, and every game looks awesome and the input lag is noticeably lower which is great. I cant give a fair comment on sound or apps because i use the Xbox for streaming and everything is hooked to a 5/2/2 sound system.

I gt the 850d model last year and read that its hdr and picture is so so and this one and the 930 are much better models. i got it for 999 around thanskgiving weekend.

Love the TV so far. It was replacing a plasma that had amazing black levels. This TV out preforms the old one all day long. The Xbox one x looks amazing in this thing

This tv is unreal. Excellent picture. I’m using it to play PS4 and the HDR is crystal clear.. I can not recommend this tv enough!!! You will not be disappointed.

I haven't bought a large TV in around 15 years. I have two Sony Bravias that have been working great all this time. However 4K TV prices have come down a lot over the past year as OLED TVs because the trendy technology so I thought it's time to get a new TV. I love my new Ultra HD Bravia! Picture quality with Netflix and YouTube that projects in 4K is stunning. Regular TV looks much better as well ! I love the functionality of having Android TV. Smart TVs creep me out but this one I'm happy with. It might be 15 years before I buy my next TV. I highly recommend this 900 series

The picture quality of this TV is awesome literally so great!! Easy set up, we mounted our TV and we had to problems. Overall great purchase for the price

I upgraded to this TV from my older Sony Bravia because I could get this one $400 off on Black Friday. I love the design of Sony’s TVs. The small bezels look clean and industrial and the anti glare screen decrease glare without sub-duing colors. I picked up the matching HDR blu ray player and an HDR cable. Movies look amazing in 4K but for me the real game changer is the upscaling!!!! This thing makes even my 1080p hd movies pop! Very happy super glad to get this for the price I did. My only gripe is the stand does not swivel but luckily my tv stand has wheels so no biggy.

This is my first 4K UHD TV and I’m really enjoying it. 1080p content looks amazing and the contrast and black levels are really good for the price point

Purchased this TV to watch HDR content and game with my Xbox One S. The picture is truly amazing. Very low lag when gaming. HDR makes a huge difference. Definitely need to customize the settings but absolutely worth the money. I purchased a 2017 Vizio M series prior and compared the picture and the Vizio can't hold a candle to this model. Buy it. Bought a second 49" set for my bedroom.

I had reviewed this Sony TV and looked at it for about a year before purchasing. When I bought a vacation home in Santa Fe, I though 'now's the time.' I cannot say enough about the incredible color and brightness. The infinite number of black background lights makes even the dullest, darkest commercial look new and alive! All programming comes through brighter and more vivid and lifelike than any other TV I've ever had. And Bravias are in my other home in Dallas. Just an incredible product that, to date, has proven to be as good or better than I thought it would be.
