BUT, a loud "crackle, crackle, popping" sound after PAUSING and pressing PLAY (like you do often for football games). Been at it for 3 weeks w/Sony with 12 diagnostic calls w/ technicians who are at a call center offshore. Each call is deja vu. After trying to blame Verizon's set-top box, Sony concludes its a TV software problem for which they have no solution & no idea when they would have one. They expect us to wait indefinitely until whenever. So far they've refused to refund our money or give us another TV that works. In short, they are selling a defective product that shouldn't be on the shelves in the first place. So much for customer service (nonexistent) and Sony's reputation. Thinking of a Sony product? ....DON'T! Save yourself the aggravation.
