let's start with the picture quality which is awesome with a little tweaking. The blacks are extremely good and the whites are the same. When a scene is predominantly white coming from a darker scene it actually hurts my eyes if I'm too close to the screen. By close, I mean 2 feet as my laptop sits on a desk with the TV. The speakers leave a little too be desired, but most tv's are that way. The TV tuner is not the best for OTA signals. I have an older Samsung 40" 4k sitting next to it using the same antenna and it will work when the Sony won't pick up the signal. To sum it up, the picture is fantastic and I would buy it on that alone. Also this is an android TV.

Great color. Great sound. Easy to set up and easy to use. Works great with our cable box. Love the remote. Size is perfect for our den 16 x 18. Color is perfect during sunlight and night lighting. Offers quite a few apps

I’ve only had the TV for a month but what I can vouch for is the color quality, the colors really are so vibrant! I play an occasional video game here and there & the graphic quality is spot on. I have had quite a few TVs in my day and this one by far has been my favorite. I would just like to add a better sound like a sound bar to make it better!

An off-brand HD frustrated me with faint wavy lines. The Sony has the sharpest picture I've ever seen. A bit of a learning curve required for settings, well worth the effort and price. You can find cheaper brands that have less of an endurance record. I love Best Buy sales people because they honestly point out the upside and downside of products.

Just an incredible picture in all formats!! Whether watching sports, movies or anything else the up conversion on this tv is amazing!! Some of the shows I have seen so far almost seem to be in 3D they are so clear. Even though there is still minimal 4K content out there when you do watch it is fantastic. Could not be happier with this purchase

good picture, easy setup and the universal remote is awesome

I had to replace my plasma tv, but didn't want to spend for an OLED, so I was a little nervous that the picture quality on my new Sony 4HD would be an obvious step down, but to my surprise the picture quality is very good. A solid white screen is a little startingly bright, but I' m getting used to that and am extremely happy with my purchase.

This television has an incredible picture and with the Android platform is compatible with all other devices we have. We added a firestick to access more channels and we are very pleased. Our sales person James at Best Buy was spot-on when he recommended this television after asking me about five or six questions about our viewing habits.

The picture is crisp and colorful. Black levels are great.

It took a little while to perfect the motion flow, contrast, and color for my surroundings but once that's done everything is Amazing! I've had people comment on how sharp the picture is and how fast it turns on.

I've read the reviews (excellent) and I've read the AVS Forums. I knew what I was getting into ... and I'm overwhelmed by what I've been missing. The X900E (soon to be F) is by far the most advanced (Android TV) viewing device (monitors, TV... whatever) I've owned. I used to scoff at "Smart TVs", but really, the internal apps hold a great amount of videos. I ended up subscribing to Playstation Vue (highly recommend) and I love the cord-cutting video. Well done Sony! (I rated a 4 because it's not the 930 or 940 and it seems just an update away).
