This TV not only has a great picture, but it is loaded with apps and other features. As an Android smartphone user, the WiFi connected Android TV platform makes it incredibly easy to stream things straight from my phone to the TV with the touch of a single button on my phone. I can also access Netflix or Amazon Prime Video without even needing an additional device! The remote leaves a bit to be desired (it has to be aimed directly at the TV to work sometimes) but that's definitely not a deal breaker. The sound on the TV is not great, but I'm a snob when it comes to sound (Bose or bust!) and let's be serious, if you are buying a TV for the sound quality, you might need to take a minute to think about what it is you're actually buying... We are very happy with our purchase. Our previous smart TV had a really nice picture too but was old enough that it wasn't supported anymore. We decided to go a little bigger (by 8") and it's perfect. The picture is great quality and the TV features are very nice.

I’ve owned for almost 2 months and so far so good. I did a lot of research wanting a good tv (after my 60” about to cancel out 4.5 years). No matter what anyone tells you, you get what you pay for or you need to spend a little money to get a good picture. I’m happy with what I bought. Just keep looking until your sure what you want.

My Sony 55" has a great picture and is easy to operate.

I did a lot of research before pulling the trigger on a 4k TV. A lot. If you want everything...the resolution, HDR, local dimming, etc, you're going to have to spend a ton of money. Or you can buy this TV. Don't get me wrong, there are better sets out there with wider color gamut. You'll just have to pay twice the price. The TV has a great look to it, with a minimal bezel and decent build materials. The picture is great and there is no motion blur. The only drawbacks are that it's not as thin as I would have liked (though acceptable) and the sound is just ok. At some point I'll have to pick up a sound bar. If you want the absolute best, go spend the $3000. If you want better than pretty much everyone you know, buy this.

I am very impressed with this tv. The colors are amazing. I love the android smart tv. Definitely better than similar Samsung TV's. I also got it at a good price at Best Buy, since it was an open-box item.

Bought this TV on Black Friday special and had it delivered and set up on a TV stand. After tinkering with the picture settings, this TV has excellent picture quality for sports events and movies, with specific picture adjustments for viewing both. The TV speakers are just average, however, and a sound bar or speaker system is highly recommended. The Android OS on the TV is also very gltichy and does not work smoothly all the time. Not a bad TV for the price, but not up the high standards of previous Sony TVs I have owned.

The processing power of this TV is awesome. That's what it comes down to. Competitors can offer similar options but, this will give a truely better and brighter picture. I was coming from a 10 year old 1080p vizio and was wanting a better picture and hated the motion blur I had. Also I would constantly see banding issues with sunsets or bright scenes. This model eliminates this completely and is able to upscale older shows as well. Trust me when I say I did my research. I watched and read up on all different reviews of different manufactures and models, but this TV was what always came back as the one to go with. If you want a great 4K TV, buy this one that has the processing power to achieve the picture. Sony 900e WILL do this!

I’m just totally amazed at the quality of this tv. Set up was very straight forward. The set has great features and the picture it is able to produce looks lifelike. It’s a few hundred more than the step below but we’ll worth the money considering the processor it has and the features will make user friendly to the future

I had been thinking about upgrading my TV as I had a Panasonic that was a Plasma. Great picture but I wanted something better. Bought this TV on Black Friday and it does not disappoint. The picture is a huge upgrade and it feels like your there! I do a lot of gaming and streaming and I would definitely recommend this TV.

So far i have been very impressed with this Sony 4k model. Apps are very easy to use and the quality of picture and sound is top notch

I have been 100 % certain I made the right choice after 2 months of enjoyment. The purchase was after 30 days of reading and reviewing 4K TV’s. Came down between Samsung and the Sony. Both brands were solid and had great reputations. Two things sold me, the picture and it went on sale. I recommend that you go and view your choices as little things might sway your decision. I loved the look of the Sony and the picture exploded off the screen. Set up right before Super bowl and was outstanding picture. Easy set up and use. Every time I turn it on I still get amazed at the clarity and picture. Sound is pretty solid alone but use my audio surround system mostly. Highly recommend and you won’t be disappointed.

Sony has done it again! Awesome picture quality right out of the box. I no longer have to adjust any settings to make videos look good. The main menu is easy to navigate and is straight forward, even my wife (who is not tech-y) didn't have a hard time learning to look for what she wants to watch. Definitely recommended.
