Purchased thru BestBuy online at discount sale price, it is the Sony Bravia HDR 55" 4K tv and I love it. My first "Smart TV" and certainly tricky to set up. Great picture but needs "De-tuning" to make it watchable. Between 4K and fast refresh rate everything looks like HSN or ESPN . Too sharp! Now, it is set right, a truly beautiful dimensional picture. Pretty good tv speaker sound but I advise you to get a sound bar.

I'm enjoying this TV and so glad that we back to a SONY. Very clear picture easy to operate. Connected to our round system no problems. Highly recommend this TV to anyone.

It is an excellent tv. We have no issues with it and the Android OS is pretty fast and smooth. This was something we were worried about as many people pointed out how bad the Android TV OS is on most TVs. Getting it on a bargain price just made it even more worthwhile.

This is a pricey TV, but I have nearly always bought Sony TV's because they are top quality and they never break down. Never! Every time I upgrade I have a perfectly good TV to put in another room, or sell, or hand off to someone. The picture is amazing, and I have no 4K signal or movies. Everything looks better, whether standard signal, or HD. Blue ray movies are amazingly clear and sharp. So there is definitely an upgrade with the picture even if you don't shell out the bucks for a 4K player. And I'll bet the cable companies will be following with 4K signals soon. If you can afford it, definitely buy the Sony.

I think the picture quality is very nice. The only reason I gave a four star rating is because I don’t like that the remote has to be pointed directly at the tv to work, and the receiver can’t have anything in front of it or the remote won’t work. The apps are smooth and easy to use.

I spent hours reading and researching different reviews, articles, and professionals' opinions on this TV, and I have to say that I am impressed. I read so many reviews that said the Android TV interface was "buggy" and slow. I do not see any lag or slow down with this Sony TV. The 120 GHz refresh rate is great! I stream Hulu and Netflix a lot and those run flawlessly. I have yet to download PS Vue, but that's going to be another big factor in how much I enjoy my TV since it will act as my cable television. I was fortunate enough to get mine during the holidays, so I saved about 400-500 dollars!

Awesome tv! Picture is great! Colors are sharp and vivid. Motionflow tech makes everything smooth moving. 4K videos with Motionflow on is eye candy. The only problem with it I have is that when the tv is connected to WIFI, and the YouTube app is left open when the tv is turned off, a can't connect to network error pops up when turned on next time. Has a retry option but still doesn't connect when doing so. If the Home button is held and the YouTube app is closed manually then reopened, it works fine. Not sure if it's a tv software issue or what. But for the most part it's pretty badass. Thanks Sony!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful Picture quality. Loved the TV. Sound could have been better and OS sometimes lags. but overall this TV is best under this category and worth investing

This was our first big ticket item purchase and we bought it on Black Friday. The TV is absolutely gorgeous with bright colors and a responsive Android TV system.

excellent color. difficult to program sound selections to use phones only and no other audio output.

The TV has great color and contrast. Good side viewing angle as I cook in the kitchen while the TV is often on. Only slightly wider than our older and smaller TV.

Overall good, need to wait for more 4K content to justify if the purchase is worth the extra cost over lesser priced TV's. I was certainly in analysis paralysis. I initially bought (and returned) a Vizio to replace a Samnsung 6 series that went black after only 3 years of use. Needless to say I would not be buying another Samsung. After the Vizio, I narrowed it between LG and Sony, deciding on the Sony based on mostly reviews and Best buy visits. Ultimately I think I had higher expectations for 4K vs.1080 so have been disappointed with the overall picture, but think as more 4K content comes online I will be more content with the added $ spent over lesser models. I have been playing with the settings continuously trying to dial in the picture, but my taste changes depending on the content. I am settling, but left wondering if I might have liked the LG better. The Best Buy staff was great and very helpful. Pros: Picture quality, motion, brightness Cons: Too many settings and configurations, price

We bought this TV the day it came out because I accidentally broke our Samsung when we were moving. I have to say, the picture quality is great- you can choose different settings depending on the lighting in your room. You can talk to the clicker and it finds the program you're looking for... (does it listen to everything when its off?? I hope not... ) All in all, worth dropping the old one and buying this one

I love this TV. It was easy to put together and easy to hookup to everything. The picture is stellar and works great with Direct TV and the Amazon Firestick.

We replaced a 50" plasma and are very happy. We mainly use it for watching OTA TV through an antenna, tuner card and Windows 7 Media Center. The blacks are so black that even old B&W shows seem to pop off the screen and so detailed you can even read the bulletins on Andy's board in the Mayberry jail. It's paired with a Sony UBP-X800 4K player and popping in a 4K disk is better than the theater.

Really pleased with this TV. This is my first smart TV. I like how you can go right to netflix from the remote. Awesome picture. Makes everything look so real.
