This is the greatest tv I've ever purchased !!! All I had to do was take it out of the box and plug it in. No adjustments whatsoever were necessary. Everything was perfect, right out of the box !!! The color, sound, performance and picture quality are absolutely wonderful !!!

Picture is crisp and clear. Remote control is aarkward to use and confusing. The remote needs lighted buttons. You have to go with touch and feel to remember the buttons to push.

so far so good, picture is clear, speakers are bad. need a sound bar to get good sound quality

Got this TV during the Black Friday sale. Picture is clear and bright out of the box, colors are a little over saturated, especially reds. Some judder during action scenes in movies even after making adjustments to the settings. Android TV menu takes a while to figure out. Built in TV sound system is awful and requires purchase of a sound bar.

Since purchasing this TV, I can unequivocally state that its quality far exceeded anything i had ever seen in the past. My son recommended that i should buy it; and I'm glad I did! Given the price I had paid for this superb TV, it was truly a great deal!

After ready many reviews on many different brands and models, I choose the Sony X900E model. My first had to was a purchase from a reputable brand. I purchased a Samsung TV which set me back $2400. only for it to poop out after 5 yrs. So that brand was out. Second was the picture and this Sony delivers. Third was the price and I feel this model is well worth the money. This TV has a lot of apps that comes with it and the voice activated remote is great. If the remote came with back lighting that would have been an added bonus.

I wanted a quality tv that was easy to use and fun to set up. The picture is beautiful and I didn’t have any problems learning how to work the remote.

I actually bought two 4K TVs during my purchase one for the bedroom and one for the living room. The Sony 55" LED -2160 was on sale at the time for a great price! This TV has not disappointed me so far. Most of the reviews talked about the sound not being to good but actually it is much better than I expected. The picture quality blows my mind that it is so clear and sharp. Even though the sound is better than advertised, I still may add a sound bar later. This one is in my bedroom so I really wasn't too concerned about the sound that much. I am so happy with my purchase thus far.

This is an awesome TV. I don't see how the picture could get any better, the blacks are very black, color is excellent and it is fairly easy to set up.

Only con is, the OS seems not really smooth... lag from the controller is sometimes pretty obvious. I hope a future update can solve this problem. Also, I hate the controller design... complicated and no way to know if you hold it in the right direction without looking at it.

This TV is amazing. Great contrast, excellent colors and the upscaling is the best. Watching normal TV being upscaled to the almost 4K is absolutely amazing.

This tv is absolutely incredible. We have replace a old Sony Bravia that we got 11+ years ago. The up conversion on regular tv is pretty impressive. I didn't do a ton of research on other models because we have been so happy with our older Sony all these years. I stayed loyal to Sony for this reason alone. I went with the 900 series due to the faster processor and thusly a smoother picture. Absolutely LOVE this tv. If you have any doubt look at the other tvs you get with a 5 year warranty for under 1700 with all the bells and whistles this one does. There's no comparison!

This is a great TV. My last Sony Brava lasted me 14 years. Amazing picture. Settings are easy to maneuver though. Haven't tried pre-set settings yet.

This TV has a very realistic, clear picture and does well in a bright room. It is easy to use and looks good with both U-Verse TV and my new BluRay player.

I have been buying Sony TVs since 1972 because of their exceptional quality and reliability. Sony 55” X-900E 4K TV is no exception. The unit has exceptional screen color performance as well ease of operation along with its smart TV features. It was easy to setup as one opened the box, and it get up and running without any difficulty. Receptions from on air TV, Wi-Fi and cable TV signals are excellent. The sales associate was very helpful to assist me in differentiating the features, pro and con of various Sony 4K TVs models before I picked this one.

The picture is very clear. Colors are vibrant. The speakers are not very loud though. Only other issue is that the smart tv menu comes up sometimes when the tv is turned on. I have not figured out when it does this and when it does not. I like the televsion a lot.

The clarity and color of the shows on this new TV are great! Glad we made the investment.

Very nice tv. Was a little hard to set up but got the picture looking really good on it.

The scenery is beautiful on this TV. People seem natural and as if they are alive in the living room. Just a great TV. Ease of use. Easy to set up.
