Great black levels and brightness for a 4K TV at this price point. HDR material looks very good. Nice interface and good, albeit basic, remote.

Picture clarity is amazing. I was taken back by the 4K resolution. Sound is also satisfactory. With Android TV, we have lots of options for apps.

I got the 55, the quality of picture is great and the colors are really taking to me on 4K HDR ! A very strange issue: Apple TV 4K can’t use the HDR on first HDMI Output, took me a long time to figure it out! And btw, 55 is a waste of money, go bigger

Okay I did a lot of research on TVs and I'm glad I did it was worth the trouble. If you didn't already know this TV is Android operated which means all of my Android apps can be loaded directly onto the TV so this eliminates the need for any sticks or boxes or computers plugged in the back of your TV and yes it supports Kodi. I am even able to plug a hard drive in USB to store movies. And on a personal note I think it has the best picture I've seen in a long time. I don't do many reviews but this TV deserve a pat on the back.... Allen

This TV is amazing. Wonderful picture and a great price. I put off buying a 4K TV for a few years and this model was well worth the wait.

Have not had it long but I really like it...GREAT PICTURE !!! and easy remote and setup to follow. I'm not real tech savvy so that means a lot.

I got this tv over the comparable Samsung with 240 motion rate and I’m so happy I did. The colors are really great, there is zero blur watching sports, and stuff on Netflix in 4K looks ridiculous. So good. We were going to buy a sound bar and then ended up not doing it because I didn’t think we needed it. Also, I wanted to splurge and get the LG OLED but for an extra $500 I’m not sure it’s worth it after owning this one.

Clarity is fantastic, I also bought the Sony blu ray 4k up scaling player. The combination is really good. The Android TV OS is pretty fast. Sometimes it does hang and you have to power it off and on to fix it. Overall a good buy

For my first 4k tv. I really am impressed. I know it's not the best. But it's the best for the buck it bangs. I got the Xbox 1X hooked up to it and a soundbar. Let's be honest these tv's speakers leave alot to be desired. All in all. The tv does what i want. I'm not a stickler for the small details of what better 4k tv's offer. Yes there is the slight clouding around whites when the screen is black. But that doesn't really bother me. Because it's still a magnificent picture quality.

Really happy with this tv and price. Great picture and easy too use features. Not a samsung but, but sony deff knows what they're doing.

For right now this TV is very good. Way too many options for control. I like the 55" and picture is very life like. I only wish that the manual was in book form. It would be cool too if sony had easier to view videos on how and why thinks work. I would like to hook up blu tooth headphones said it can but seems to be a issue. Does up scale really really good. GREAT that it has a antenna to get over air channels. Very important hope TV continue to have this option. Would not buy it if you could not get over air stations. Thus dont have to sign up for cable. Its a keeper for now. No real issues, probably have some like others said, but tend to ignore them. Why take it back for one issue to then get another one with a different same sony model. I say buy it! O ya I use roku stream+ on it. Works great.REALLY wish all four hdmi were for 4k instead of just two.

since I was jumping into the 4k realm & was upgrading to the new Xbox 1 X, I needed a TV up for the task in my price range & this was a steal at $999. Picture is perfect almost just wish the Android TV OS wasn't slow, hope it improves with updates.

Easy set up remote has quick access to Netflix picture and sound are great the 4K is unbelievable

Never thought I’d buy a TV over 1000 but then I bought this and don’t regret it one bit. Amazing quality, beautiful screen, and a very vibrant color gamut. Honestly after buying this I don’t think I’d ever go back to anything else.

In the process of searching for a new TV, Sony was not on our list of options. However, when my wife told the Best Buy salesperson she preferred natural color to the vivid colors of some of the other brands, he quickly recommended the Sony. Set-up was easy and soon we were watching a very satisfying picture on our new TV. Now for the disappointment: We enjoy Netflix and Amazon and often watch shows on those sites. I set up the wireless internet connection without difficulty. However, every time we watch a show on Netflix or Amazon, we lose the internet connection. I have to reestablish an internet connection every time (login etc.). I never had that problem with my previous smart TV (LG). A quick google search shows that this is a frequent problem for many Sony TV owners. If anyone has a fix, I would be delighted to hear. Otherwise, we love the TV...

Hands down the clarity and the even color and HDR makes this the best Sony yet. Watching 4k movies is a real pleasure. Never go cheap on tv!

Had TV 1 month so far. Very good purchase at a great price. Recommend this TV.

The picture clarity is amazing! Watched the Masters golf tournament and the colors were unbelievable. Simple set up and easy to use.

My first venture into 4k TV so was apprehensive about retiring my 12 year old 40" Samsung LCD TV for this Sony 55X900E. I have had this Sony for 3 weeks now and am quite satisfied with the picture quality when viewing 1080p via my Directv HD service. As for 4k content that is not a big priority for me so cannot speak to that technology. I am just a casual viewer and less interested in all the "bells & whistles" (which this Sony is over-loaded with, including every imaginal streaming service). Picture quality, reliability are my main priorities and thus far I am one satisfied owner. I would suggest when purchasing this Sony you have Geek Squad do the set up as it will help you better understand the many features and oh yes , don't place much emphasis on the Sony manual as other than assembly instructions it is leaves much to be desired.

I am having this TV for over a year. Crisp picture and great sound. Easy to navigate instructions. Love it.
