We chose this model for the full array LED and the Android OS. The difference between the full array and edge-lit only screens was striking. Having full array brightness behind the whole picture makes a huge difference in both color brilliance and brightness, and was well worth the extra. We're definitely seeing details we were missing on our old TV. We are Google/Android users across the board, so the Android OS was very attractive to us as well. We got started with Google Home early this year, and have quickly become devotees. Imagine our surprise when we discovered that the new Sony models with built-in Chromecast cannot be controlled with Google Home! I have a coworker with almost the exact same model, and it turns out that Sony Bravia has full functionality with Amazon's Alexa instead. We're extremely frustrated with this. There is a lot of chatter about this online, and they're making it sound like more functionality is coming with Google Home. I certainly hope so, but the more time that goes by, I'm afraid they may put all their focus on fixing this for future models and leave us in the dust on this one. The OS does come with Google Assistant, which is nice, but you have to press a mic button on the remote to bring it up. So things like asking it to turn off the TV is actually more steps than just pressing the power button. Back on the good side, the smart menu is well done, with a good selection of apps. Switching sources is a breeze, the HDMI ARC to control our soundbar, and the IR Blaster that relays to our cable box has made it so that we rarely have to touch any of our other remotes. Finally! The Neflix interface is good, and the Hulu app is actually more like the older interface, which we much prefer over the flashy update that actually seems to make shows harder to find. If they would just get the functionality with Google Home that it should have had in the first place, we'd be totally in love.

Looks great in my living room. Read other peoples reviews in my decision was very helpful in making my choice.

The quality on this is insane!! Definitely worth all the praise it gets

This TV is much better than I thought it would be. I had just purchased a Samsung 60-inch regular high definition TV and really liked it. But the Sony TV seems to be much more sophisticated with voice input for searching on YouTube which is invaluable. The picture is great, much better than any other I've seen.

My old 46" Sony was mounted to the wall. I had it for 10 years & loved it. It had a border of about 2.5" all around. My new 55" Sony has no border, is virtually the same size as the 46" [this was important for the wall mounting space available] and I get an extra 5 inches of of screen. It's wonderful!

This Sony has everything I wanted in a new TV! I can now really enjoy watching both movies and football games.

More visually then I expected. Picture is so realistic, color on spot and 55" is perfect. I couldn't be happier with my purchase experience with Best Buy. My sales person was helpful and patient with all my questions. Also installation was a pleasure and hopefully if I have any problems all will go as well.

4k looks great. HD scales very well. There is some minor lag with the remote on first button press, then is fluid. I used a universal remote and works faster. So far very satisfied. I replaced my 46 inch 720p bravia that is 10years old and now going to another room. The difference is night and day.

Great picture quality however the android operating system lags sometimes or error messages appear. Other than that, a good buy.

Geek Squad (Charles and Greg) did an exceptional job in installing the Sony 55" X900E 4K and Sony Sound Bar.

Finding this to be excellent choice. Thrilled with picture quality! Speakers are okay (like many internal speakers on similar models), but decided to add a sound bar to improve sound, and all work great together. Have to say, used Geek squad to mount to wall and set up, and was very pleased with the result.

I went to Best Buy to look for a different item and left with this tv! Love it and so happy with my choice!

I bought this TV after a lot of research. It's commonly reviewed by knowledgeable users as the best 4K HDR TV for its price range and I've been very happy with it. Many TVs claim HDR functionality but do not have the supporting features to view it properly such as wide color gamut and local dimming.

A lot of features to set up and use. Pleased with everything. Bluetooth even connects to my hearing aids.

This TV is the best one I've ever owned. The picture is beautiful and the size is just right for my room. The quality of the picture and the sound is better than I expected. The brand is also very reputable and would highly recommend this TV to everyone that appreciates quality and dependability.

Easy install and fits standard VESA mounting, replaced 1080 Sony with this model, able to set all streaming services up quickly. Not a knock on the tv, but will need a googl account since android to download apps. Great 4K make sure you have an AC wireless router or wired lab for 4K streaming.

I have had the TV for about a week and so far I am happy with the purchase. My only complaint is the smart TV aspect. I have experienced some delay while navigating the menu and I’m not sure if that is normal.

I’m a Sony guy but haven’t bought Sony flat screens.... I became an LG guy. But saw this model in the store and spent the xtra $100 for the high end Sony. The picture and hardware are amazing!! We are extremely impressed.... family and guests all rave about what an amazing picture. Very pleased!
