We bought the TV about two weeks ago. So far, we are pleased. Set up/assembly of the stand was not complicated. Tweaked the colors & sound a bit instead of using the standard settings. TV has great picture and amazing color definition. Reviews found online were helpful in choosing to purchase this TV.

Asked the salesman what the best tv was for the money. He recommended this tv and we couldn’t be happier.

Did a lot of research on a TV that's the best available on the market for gaming, hands down the best TV!

I got this TV two weeks ago, set it up and performed the latest firmware update. The Picture is fantastic, but I had some trouble finding the best motion setting. It worked for a while and then it didn't, so I had to keep on working with it to prevent blur, judder, and still not set it at soap opera effect. Finally I realized what the problem was. The TV was becoming unstable and it seems the reason is, the Android operating system, and bloatware apps, kept on taking and keeping ram, which made the TV and picture unstable. What I've had to do is turn it off, and disconnect the power source. Connect it again, and let it re-boot. Once I did that, the TV was stable again. The problem is that I need to keep re-booting the set. That's ridiculous. I chatted with a Sony rep and they say they haven't had that problem reported, which I don't believe. They didn't take any responsibility. The rep wanted to do a factory reset, but I refused. I don't think that will fix anything. This is the 2nd set and the first one did the same thing. Best Buy thought that I might have gotten a lemon the first time, but the 2nd set is doing it too. I don't know if Best buy will take it back now, so if it continues, I'll have to go the Geek Squad route using the protection plan if they can't fix it. I bought this set because it had great reviews and Best Buy said it was an excellent TV. It got much better reviews than Samsung by several reviewers.

I initially purchased the 49" 900e and then convinced my wife to let me trade it in for the 55" 900e. This was wall mounted in our bedroom and looks fantastic. Gorgeous picture, color clarity and over-all performance. This is going to be with us for many years to come! Highly recommend!

I’m not a electronic expert but I know for fact and personal experience Sony TVs are made with Pride !!

No complaints so far. Color and picture were awesome right out of the box. Replaced a 5yr old Sony 55" and the picture quality improvement is very noticeable. Have not tried viewing any 4K content yet. Sound quality is better than the old tv, though use my stereo most of the time anyway.

I took a lot of time researching to find the right 4K UHD TV and am a lifelong Sony TV owner/ advocate. When Sony discounted the xbr900e, the time was right. After waiting a week to get the TV delivery, it was a breeze to setup. What I would have liked is an abrieviated tutorial on the remote functions which are not intuitive. Of course the on-line help is very complete but has almost too much detail in some situations. After a month with the TV, we continue to find new ways to integrate it in our life. The built-in speakers are just okay and really need the support of an AV system or sound bar. My Kenwood AV1090 connected via the optical in brings great audio benefit but doesnt function with the TV remote which is my only disappointment. We subscribe to cable and use DVR which does work well by the TV remote but also wasnt intuitive to figure out. The help features were a nice explanation along with the included IR blasters. Now for the image quality, it is AMAZING! You can feel assured of the improvement over 1080p even without true 4K content which is upscaled impressively. Our last Sony, which is more than 10 yesrs old, obviously didnt have the many features and apps which have created TV excitement in our home again. The voice remote is a GREAT feature and we couldnt imagine a new TV without it. In the end, we are very happy with our purchase and would highly recomend this TV.

I have been putting off upgrading my tv to a larger smart tv and couldn't be happier with my purchase.

TV has lived up to all expectations. An incredible television for sure. Very happy with my purchase.

Looks beutiful. Plenty of apps. My only complaints would be that you have to be patient when you use the remote control. It's easy to press a button and when you see nothing happen after a second or two press it again, only to cancel out what you were trying to do. Must be patient.

I love this TV. I'm a fan of all electronics by Sony. I believe in name brand and they are one of the pillars and leaders in the industry when it comes to electronics. This TV has great picture, sound, and is exceptional when it comes to 4K.

So far so good- just please tell people to have a newer HDMI cable to get the best picture possible!

I wish I had listened to this TV before I purchased it. But half the time in BEST BUY they are hooked up to soundbars or it is too noisy to get an accurate gage of the sound quality. I bought this TV to replace my old Sony Bravia XBR KDL-52XBR4. It lasted about 10 years before it was taken over by horizontal lines. But it was a great TV and I loved it so of course I wanted a new Bravia. Sony always does a great job with Vivid picture quality, colors depth sharpness and all that, and the 4K picture is beautiful However, I was really disappointed with the sound. Obviously my old Bravia was a monster and it had a larger set of speakers in the sides but even so, these speakers are very bad. There is virtually no bass or mids to them at all. They are tiny little speakers int he bottom of the screen and no matter how much I try to tweek the sound , it is still weak and treble city. I really don't want to have to use a soundbar everytime I'm watching regular everyday tv (particularly since I'm not that fond of my Sony soundbar either but that's a whole other story.) I guess I just miss my incredible "Custom" audio setting from my old TV that produced a real full, rich sound. I really don't want to return the TV so I am just going to go on the hunt to see if there is any way I can fix this issue. If you're not an audiophile than this TV is definitely a great buy.

Bought this TV as my entertainment center in my new house would not fit my existing 56" TV...exactly, barely wouldn't fit. For me it has excellent picture quality and watching streaming sports no issues with motion. Definitely recommend if you don't want to spend money to get OLED.

Purchased another Sony 4K after this one. That second was a 50" purchased as a Black Friday special
