I am disappointed with my new Sony's inability to consistently provide TV Guide (electronic program guide) channel information when using a roof-top antenna. Along with the purchase of this TV, I also purchased a 50 Samsung which operates flawlessly and provides a consistent program guide. Internet chatter suggests that my Sony TV is requesting electronic TV guide information based on the TV station's actual frequency. Unfortunately these TV stations have recently changed their frequencies. It makes me wonder if my TV has ever been updated to accommodate these new frequencies. I like the TV, but this is a big deal if you are a cord cutter.

Great TV!!! It only looses a star because I wish it was a little better when the room has some light in it. :)

Great resolution! We paired our TV with the Sony sound bar & bass. And we love it!

The lagging is bad. Every time I turn the tv on the picture freezes. The picture is great though.

Sony is the one of the best products and it was incredible

Worked okay, had to power reset it a bunch of times over 2 years. Now it wont turn on at all and warranty is only good for a year. I spent $648 on this now I need new tv and Im on SSI.

Less than 1 year old. Freezes on Sony logo. Flashes on & off. No customer support. Over priced

Love the ease of use, setup was a breeze and the remote is set up great too. I used my android phone to set this up which made it so easy. Actually the hardest thing was putting the stand together which, after, we turned the page over we realized we needed to attach a part to the legs which then slid into the tv itself and the screws attached to that through the back of the tv. Also the remote backing slides all the way off so that was a bit different too but love how sleek and good the remote feels. The sound on this tv is awesome and the display is amazing too.

I have had this Tv For about two weeks now, and I have noticed the 60hz in it. For example when there is any kind of speed scene, someone moves by the screen rapidly, then the area becomes slightly pixelated. I have my cable box connected via HDMI along with a PS5 and DVD player, all connected to a different HDMI port. The tv cable so far is the only part that will get some pixelating. Other than that the tv is a great size for a small space, bright colors and a slim design.

I was wanting to upgrade to a bigger TV and was looking for a Smart TV. I have always known Sony to offer great quality and I have purchased multiple Sony products and never been disappointed. This television is the exact upgrade I needed at a great price. Looks great mounted on the wall in my space and offers all the functionality I wanted. It was available in my local store so order and pick up was easy/same day. I’ve owned it a couple of months now and I am pleased with my purchase and recommend this if you are looking for a Smart TV.

Initial Impression: Packaging was great. Well protected. Super easy to open pull the white plugs and the top of the box just slides off great job Aesthetics: I’m super picky about bezels. I can’t STAND a thick bezel. You could show me a great picture with a thick bezel and I would hate the TV. I’m happy to see they’ve decreased the bezel size in this years models its truly a piece of art. I wasn’t overly excited when I saw the pictures of the stand legs, but they turned out to be better than I thought. I would still prefer them to be on the outer edge of the TV, but I understand why Sony decided to go with the placement since finding a TV stand to accommodate for legs any further spread out, especially with the TV size would be a lot more difficult. The legs are a sturdy build with a nice finish in case you do not mount makes me think twice about mounting. Set-up/Software: Seamless. I fell in love with my prior Sony model and I’m glad to see they’ve kept the key features and added on some. The android interface is a very intuitive All in all it was super-fast, super easy. Screens were fluid and easy to understand. As a photographer I tend to get frustrated easy when things aren’t natural, but the TV has a good UI/UX design. It has all the apps I need/use (and then some). I love having Netflix and Prime as an app. Definitely a plus since I listen to music on my TV through my surround sound often and used to resort to using a ChromeCast to do so now I just use google music built into TV. The google assistant is super easy and awesome love telling my TV to watch my favorite programs or listen to my favorite music when remote isn't handy. Picture: What everyone wants to know! It’s great! For the model/price point, I don’t think you can beat the picture. Compared to the similar brands like Samsung, this is definitely a lot sharper NO competition but I expect nothing less from Sony. The blacks are darker and the whites brighter. The presets for different picture modes are incredible and you can switch easily depending on what you watch. I find myself sticking to “Standard” mode the most. There is little to no glare on the screen, and I have the TV placed right next to a wall of windows with the blinds open 90% of the time. I think the “Standard” TV mode helps in this regard as well. The game mode is awesome I already see a huge difference in latency compared to my older TV. COD has never played so well. The TV is incredibly bright I was really surprised but it also looked clear and crisp. The HDR on Netflix was amazing everything looked incredibly lifelike it out shines all higher end TV's i've purchased in the past I guess technology just gets better and better. Other: I love the remote. I know the TV is still in the entry/mid level category, but the remote is sleeker and “smart.” Love the netflix button top notch Sony. There’s plenty of inputs and connectivity through android gives me everything I need. Can't be any happier with my purchase.

Really nice picture and easy to use with our phones and tablets! We streamed the Final Four through this tv since we didn't have cable set up yet. And my son was able to watch cartoons through Netflix so everyone was happy. The remote is easy to use. We would buy this again!

As soon as I removed it from the box I could tell the construction was superior to my old tv. The picture is crystal clear and the smart tv options are great. No lag when streaming which is all I do. No cable at all. Smart remote makes programming effortless.

Bought this TV nearly a month ago to replace a very old Visio TV. This Smart TV is a complete game changer compared to my old and not so smart Visio. Great picture, stunning colors, works absolutely great. Set up was simple and quick, and I am by no means an electronics wiz. Can’t speak much to the sound as I am using a theater system. Overall, great product. So far, I am very happy with my purchase.

First and foremost is the fantastic HD picture quality, that alone makes this TV a must have for me. Bonus feature is the ease in switch between platforms YouTube, Netflix, Curiosity Stream and so much more. Super easy to set up and connect apps. The only reason I did not give five stars is the screen is very easily cracked and warranty will not cover "screen impact" This makes this tv not good for families with small children, even mounted out of reach anything thrown at it will Crack the screen.

I bought this SONY because it was SONY at a great price. It is the first time sony let me down. I used to work in broadcast video at the time when HDTV was being pioneerd. Everything in the nerworks was SONY. I have bought SONY since the Trinitron. Unfortunarely though, this unit is 30 htz as oppose to the standard 60. With an OTA converter, you'll get 60 but, not as it's suppose to be. A good picture yes but, not the famous SONY quality. Again I used to work in broadcast television before HDTV was on the market. I KNOW video, NTSC at 525 lines of video resolution and best buy should post that this is only 30 htz, i csn't believe SONY has done this. Best buy adds insult to injury buy granting, very suspiciously, only 15 days to return a product. Once burned, twice shy? I won't buy from Bestbuy agsin.

This is a great TV. The picture is amazing. Set up was not too difficult, although I couldn't do it using Google assistant on my android smart phone. The remote is fairly intuitive. No problems with streaming thus far.

Works great overall. Great picture and colors and audio. Occasionally the TV needs to be unplugged and hard rebooted due to being a Smart TV but it's a great TV otherwise.
