    Tried to same some money and go with Sony lesser model love Sony So i thought it would turn out to be a decent tv with Sony that is all I buy! Boy was I wrong took the first one back because of a bad picture that is dull and with bad backlighting tried another and same problems , I am surprised Sony would be this bad! I have owned many Sony tvs over time but next time I will spend more to get the Sony I am used to.

      To your point, the X750H has a lower peak brightness than other Sony TVs in the H series line up.
      We would recommend stepping up to a full array local dimming TV that has brighter backlight system such as X900H or X950H series TV.

      Picture modes and picture settings can be adjusted to reach peak luminance of the TV. This can done by going to settings and picture mode. Vivid mode would provide the brightest settings.

    Very poor quality picture. The backlighting is one of the worst I've seen. Consider getting the same price range LG, Samsung, or Toshiba before you consider this TV. I expected that paying a bit more would bring quality. I was sorely mistaken.

    Should have stayed with LG

    This is the first TV that would not work with my cable TV provider.. I would say about half of my channels will work, the others are too fuzzy to watch. I've owned 3 other LG TVs that all have worked fine with this cable provider. I think Sony is trying to over complicate what should be easy.. All I can say is, I should've stuck with LG ... This will be my last Sony product ..

    SONY kd-55x750h does not have the option to move apps to usb drive. the android runs slow as it is, and not to be able to move apps in android does not make sense. please fix with an update.I bought this tv for android and 4K.if i knew this i would have got another tv.

    For some reason the programmers forgot to give the option of turning off the front LED light and it’s very distracting when watching the TV. Returned this and plan on getting a different model.

    Out of the box it was not good. Screen was very dirty and overall didn't like it. The Best Buy store took it back with no issues and I got the 800H instead which is awesome.

    There was trouble setting the tv up and now it’s not working very well. Weird stuff happening like it won’t turn on and sound goes in and out.

    TV has to be hard reset almost daily. It automatically zooms in and the only way around it is to unplug it and reboot it.

However, with all LCD/OLED screens, regardless of the manufacturer, there may be a small number of dots that do not change color. This is normal operation for all LCD and OLED screens from all manufacturers. Most defects are noticeable only when an all-white or all-black picture is displayed. They shouldn't be noticeable under normal operation.
