Some light bleeding around where the legs are . A little noticeable on all black scenes, but overall the picture is one big giant wow! I sit at a bad angle and the picture is still great. Sony just gets it right.

I like Sony because I’ve never had a problem with them! I gave my son one of mine that I had for 13 years and he’s loving it! I replaced it with a Samsung TV and it got the red line of death just after the manufactures warranty ran out! I’m back with Sony and very happy with it!

The only disappointment I have is picture quality on sports, particularly anything that's played in bright sunlight. No matter what picture setting I try and subsequent tweaks to each, the picture isn't improved. I have a suspicion that if I'd purchased the 49" model, I'd be more satisfied with the picture.

On the supplied TV remote, press the HOME button.
Select Gear settings Settings.
Under TV category, select Picture & Display or Display & Sound.
Select Picture adjustments.
Select Advanced settings.
Select Motion.
Set the CineMotion to Low or Off.
Select Motionflow.
Select Off.

Great tv

Wanted to get a bigger screen. This tv did not disappoint. We have it on a table but will be mounting it on the wall. That is why I am rating it 4 and not 5. The stands on the tv I find not as sturdy as the older tv. The tv seems too heavy to me.

Bought the Sony 55" Class X800H Series LED 4K UHD Smart android TV. The picture is very nice and the color's are beautiful. The sound is good on this TV but not as good as my old Sony. With a sound bar added it sounds great.

The picture is sharp and the colors are brilliant when viewing from different angles. It is also the perfect size for our family room. The greatest feature is that is WIFI ready, so for Netflix all I had to so click on Netflix on the TV remote to sign up...so easy.

Not small, and not overly large. Sony always makes solid products. Functions well, and isn’t overly complicated, which was really important to me. This TV also hangs well on my wall mount bracket that I purchased in addition. I also use this in conjunction with Sony’s HZ-9F 3.1 Ch Hi-res sound bar and wireless subwoofer.

Motion control is not as crisp I had hoped for. I have not had a TV at this size so I may be unrealistic. Colors are good and Android Smart is really smart. There is a slight amount of vignetting in the corners, that only is visible on pure white screens. In general I am quite satisfied, but I do like perfection.

This TV has beautiful design with a narrow bezel. First time set up was easy and quick. The Picture quality was excellent. After 2weeks, everything works perfectly. This is the best 4K TV under $800. I would recommend this TV for everyone.

HDR makes the difference

I have noticed it makes a difference when watching programming that wasn't originally filmed in HD. There is a model of this TV without the processor but believe me just pay the little extra and get the upgrade. Very pleased!

I have had this Sony TV for almost 2 years. It preforms perfectly and the picture quality is beautiful. I cannot think of any cons.

We understand that it is not the top of the line for Sony, but we did not expect to have these issues. We have issues with the video stuttering on some streaming services. Occasionally the TV will stop and reboot for no apparent reason. Also, the remote interferes with another Sony TV three rooms away, so we have to check to see if the TV is on in another room. We also have a sound bar that we use and if we are adjusting the volume, the TV shows it's display on screen while the TV speakers are not in use, competing with the sound bar. We've had other Sony TVs in the past, but this one has been quirkier than in the past and Sony could have done better on this one.

This one set up easily and works great. My only complaint is the stand. Instead of a center base they have moved to legs at each end of the set. As a result I purchased an aftermarket center stand.

We also are impressed with sound quality. We weren't expecting sound to be good, and assumed we'd need a sound bar. But, so far we are using TV without soundbar and are satisfied. So glad we stepped up to the Sony.

Colors are vibrant. Sound ... not so great. $ high

That tv was perfect. But it was dying then died (and I'm getting it repaired - it's worth it). What I don't like: 1) No light for remote. The button feel isn't very obvious, so handling it is klutzy. 2) There's odd movement when images are one color (almost like shadows). 3) Black and dark colors merge. I can't set the contrast to differentiate. 4) I've set up other TVs that are more intuitive. This was a little harder. 5) I don't like the lack of space where all the HDMIs fit. 6) Sound is left or right - nothing like adding treble and I expected that in this tv. A sound bar in a lower-end Sony to me isn't worth it. What I like: 1) Colors are vivid. 2) It's light. 3) Decent degrees of color etc. adjustment. 4) Online help. 5) Weight. If we weren't living in the middle of a worsening pandemic, I wouldn't shopped by viewing tvs. Had to go by reviews and Cons. Reports. For the cost, I wouldn't recommend this tv. If it was even $100 less, it would be worth it. I'd compare it to a couple Samsungs out there. Quality will pan out or not in the coming months. It's pretty much Sony's entry-level tv. As time goes on, I expect the tv to grow on me.

Had to return the first one as a thin blue line was running vertically on the screen and would not go away no matter what we tried. Got replacement with no hassles and great customer service. New one is working great with much more vibrant colors than the first one. Still have to be knowledgeable to get everything working.
