Havent owned a sony tv since back in the day but i needed a new tv so i purchased sony x950g tv and has been awesome so far (have 4 samsung tvs in the whole house). The picture quality is way better than my previous samsung tv and then you add android tv its an all in one package!!!!

Very pleased with this TV from the start. Great service at Best Buy. Prompt delivery. Easy set up. And the TV has a great image--as promised--excellent from many viewing angles in our large but narrow living room. And the sound is unusually good, with adjustment options that actually produce results. Highly recommend.

I have been having this TV for more than 2 years now and I can definitely say it was a worthy purchase. In fact I now thing that I should have brought a larger one. The picture quality is just awesome - especially the Dolby atmos and 4K HDR. Sound is not so good, you will need at least a sound at to match up with the picture

This Sony TV works so great! It was very easy to setup. Once turned on, the tv walks you through the setup. The android tv apps work great and very quickly. This has a great picture and color. I am very happy with my buy. Sounds good for tv speakers. Not as good as a sound bar or surround sound. Got it on sale and no regrets to date. Hope I get at least 10 years of use like old Sony tv.

I ruled out going for the OLED so it was down to this Sony, Samsung QLED and LG Nano. It was very tough to see the difference between the three in the store. I ended up going with the Sony 950 G because my last two tv’s have been Sony and glad I did. The tv I was replacing was not 4K and the difference is amazing. The picture is amazing with both 4K programming and regular HD upscaling.

Bought this thing open box and was being used as a display. Hung this up on the wall in my bedroom and it is great! I have a decent size bed room so 55 inch is perfect don't go too big for no reason trust me wall will look cleaner with the right size TV. Thought about doing a projector but glad I went this route this TV is great with great picture.

It has the brightest picture and really great sound of any TV I have owned including my LG OLED 65". The drawback is when your local station runs the Water Park ad late at night, it blares out from the unit and if you happened to fall asleep while watching the TV, you will be awakened. Local Best Buy TV specialist told me all TV's made in the last two years do not mute local tv ads anymore. I don't think that is true. One other piece of this is a month after I purchased it, the price dropped by $200.00.

Very good picture and easy to use apps. So far I'm very happy with the tv.

We are remodeling our home and needed a TV for the new, larger Kitchen area and breakfast nook. We worked with a Best Buy Geek Squad home advisor who came out to our home and thoroughly reviewed possible solutions with us and finally recommended the Sony 55" Smart TV. The Geek Squad also handled the TV's mounting and hook-up and everything was perfect...including, of course, the picture!
