Initially I bought Samsung RU8000 but wasn't impressed with picture quality. It has the best upscaling for Non-HD/SHD content. Straight out of the box - didn't have to change any settings. Would never buy anything other than Sony TV.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Removed the TV from the packaging and completed the stand installation plugged in the power cable and DVR/cable provider box - did initial station search and good to go. Only one minor issue with the Samsung sound bar and sub-woofer. A quick call to Sony support and they were able to remote into the TV and corrected the settings, bringing the sound in through an HDMI port rather that through optic cable. Extremely good customer support.

The only downside to this Tv is that a lot of cable carriers are not compatible with this brand for their streaming services. As a result I had to buy a firestick to use with my Xfinity steaming service and also when I had ATT streaming services.

I love the Sony TV's, as they are loaded with quality and options. This one (X950G Series) is even better than the first one I purchased 6 months ago (X800G Series). Web Apps are smooth and nicely laid out. Set up was a breeze. Colors are vibrant. End result very satisfied with this purchase, just hope it lasts as long as the Sony TV we replaced from 2002.

It was very intuitive. The Sound Bar hookup went quickly and seamlessly. The Bluetooth function for both the tv and sound bar work very well. We have always had luck with Sony products.

I think there is a lot of glare but over all it's a pretty good tv I dont like there are no TV plugs in the back and the solution you give but you couldn't put the plug in the box I have to go buy them.i believe putting them in the box would had made a good experience. I did not expect the change if so I would have got the plug a head of time it's brighter than the other Sony I had that's better and brighter colors
