The picture quality varied greatly depending on input source. DirecTV movies were amazing. Netflix and other streaming services were also very good. Sports, particularly hockey, were disappointing. The ice appeared washed-out and the motion processing was unnatural. I spent over an hour with a Sony technician who tried to calibrate the tv remotely, with no success. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

The stiffness and sturdiness to this TV are apparent. The design is sleek and fits well in any room. BUT.. the UI was more difficult than it should have been and I could never get the TV to accept a screen mirror. After two days of tweaking, finally contacted a Sony tech who then told me that this TV did not have the mirror capability. This was a deal breaker for me. I frequently mirror presentations and occasionally game on a big screen. I returned the TV and traded for the Samsung which I'm very pleased with.
