Expensive and short lived

This was a good TV, up until just after the warranty ran out. I've always liked Sony, but they are now just like everyone else, selling a disposable product at a premium price. I originally purchased this TV because I have a 15-year old Bravia that is still going strong and the reviews say Bravia is still a good line. I'm sure it's just my luck, but I can't give more than one star considering the circumstances. A one year warranty also shows just how much they believe in their product now; they don't.

Great TV Sony X950G 55 inch

Web site updates were spot on, made the transaction smooth and easy. Also I was able to acquire about a price match online and was honored without issue. Only place you can get this service is at Best Buy.

Great TV but get confused with the sound bar

Per the previous reviews, we noted that a sound bar should be added to help support the TV. So, that is what we did. Most of the time, they work well together but there are times when no sound is produced when initially turned on. The sound bar purchased is the most recent Sony model.

Great TV!

The display is beautiful, with bright vivid colors and deep dark blacks. Audio is a bit thin, but that seems to be the case with TV’s these days. It’s acceptable, but nothing to write home about.

Pretty good picture

A few months back we had one of your sony TVs installed, and the tech was great. He went through every detail with us. He was great. Even told us how to connect to aps. We are having problems getting this TV to work to our satisfaction.

Just decided to buy new model for football season. I Bought another Bravia enough said. I have recommend Sony Bravia to two friends both bought Bravia both very happy....

Natural Colors with some issue

TV would turn itself off, specifically YouTube get crashed very frequently and you to restart the TV or reinstall it again.

Love the picture

I have a little problem with the sound quitting. I contacted Best Buy 1-800 geek squad and within a few minutes had the answer how to reset the set. It has happened again and I reset it. If it happens again, we will see about replacing the TV. Dick

Our only complaint is that it’s difficult to figure out how to adjust the sound so we can hear the speech over the music. I probably just need to spend more time playing with it.

Internet connectivity problem

If it is able to access the internet then often there are various problems such as very slow performance, freezing, and a complete loss of picture. I have equipment that cost a tenth of what this set cost that don't have this problem. While trying to troubleshoot I learned this seems to be a fairly common problem with Sony tv's. I usually buy Samsung, and never had this problem, but decided to try a Sony this time, now I'm having regrets. Hope this problem can be resolved.
