It came down to this or the Samsung Q7/Q8. I finally went with the Sony because the color was much truer to life. I have no regrets. Great television.

Had one repair within warranty period so far. Had to have all boards replaced and reprogrammed. Seems fine now. Problem started to develop when updating software and only got worse the more software was updated.

The only thing I wish it came with is a instruction manual and not just video instructions. I also wish the store offered lessons on how to use a smart tv where a person can ask questions. Especially for seniors

Sony just makes an excellent product. The user interface of their TVs are the most intuitive and layout presentation is great. If you want to get a quality TV but don't want to break the bank, Sony is the way to go.

Purchased two tv’s and had them installed by Geeks

Had them come back out for a site survey for one tv. Want all cabling and cable box hidden behind tv. Tech wrote up a report and I went into store two days later to pay for equipment and schedule home visit. They (Montclair Store) could not find my work order despite me having and providing that info. Received a call later that night saying that they had found it and I went back into store to complete the transaction the following day. They could not find it again and I left when they promised to call me again once info was found. It’s been 3 days and have not heard from them.

Faulty after only 14 days!!

It worked well for about 14 days, then it started displaying a black screen whenever I would turn it on after being off for a few hours. It would take at least 20 minutes for the picture to show up. Called Sony customer service and they walked me through a few troubleshooting steps (including a factory hard reset which took forever to set up the TV again) and the issue was not resolved. They told me at that point the TV needed service from Sony. After only 14 days of owning it!!! I also was not fond of some of the Android features. I took it right back to the store and upgraded to an LG OLED. I don’t recommend this Sony TV! It did have a beautiful picture, but you might as well Spend a few hundred more for a TV worth buying and without the hassle. I researched the problem and found that many others experienced the same black screen problem with it brand new and after the TV was no longer under Sony warranty. Don’t bother!
