Our old LCD TV was losing its sound so we went out in search of a new TV. We kind of wanted 4k but did not want to spend crazy amounts of money. When we went to the store and looked at the display models on the wall, this TV had a better overall picture than the 4k tvs next to it which were on the lower end of the 4k price range. The picture on this tv is great and it has a wonderful feature that it knows which input to switch to when you push a button on any remote whether it be DVD player, or roku, it recognizes the input and automatically changes. Wonderful TV at a great price

Plasma to LED adjusting

I was bummed when my Plasma died, and there were no more Plasmas to buy anymore. I had a ASAP budget and after some research love the OLED blacks. However my budget wasn't in the $3500 range ( happy results) So I went review shopping and narrowed it down to this set. After bringing it home and mounting it to my Omni-Mount. I noticed it was washed out in color , like for a bright room. I however have a unlight TV room (perfect for a Plasma) . So I have my current settings ( http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sony/w600b/settings ) set to these suggested by Rtings. It brought back the rich colors and blacks. I may never need a OLED and I may have saved myself $3k too.

I did a lot of looking at TV specs, prices and availability before choosing this Sony 60" Smart TV and this one looked best to me, so I bought it on line from Best Buy. It was not as heavy as my old Sony 46" which was hanging on the wall previously. My only con is that the TV on the provided base is a bit wobbly and I would strongly recommend mounting it on a wall

We had been looking at buying a new flat screen for quite a while. We already had a flat screen but it was older, not energy efficient and was only a 720 which put off a lot of heat. My husband hooked it up that night and we have loved it! Everything we were looking for: great picture, color clarity, energy saving and has all the bells and whistles.

TV has an incredible picture but comes setup out of the box with all motion/etc settings on. I am still in the process of playing with the settings to get the best picture for movies. If you were looking at a 4k TV without HDR, I would look at this instead. The HDR on 4k is awesome but there isn't much out there for content yet.

I've had my eyes on a new, up to date TV for awhile, and I finally decided to break down and pick this up over the weekend. Great set for $600, the 4 HDMI ports was big for me, allowed me to eliminate the switcher that I had on my old set. Other than having to play with the sound a little bit where my PS4 is concerned, I have no complaints with this TV. What I will complain about however, is the packaging. The clamps are a nice touch, you simply squeeze and pull the 4 clamps out and lift the box right over the set, no need for scissors!!!! But for whatever the reason the remote control, brackets for the stand, and the screws to attach the stand to the TV were packaged in the foam, I honestly thought they were missing!!! A second and third look inside the box did the trick, and I'm definitely satisfied with this purchase. If you're not interested in 4K I highly recommend this TV!!!

Got the TV, hooked it up in 10 minutes, had it on my home wireless and using it within 15 minutes. Great picture, the football mode is a bit weird but it looks great. Used all 4 HDMI ports already have a PC connected to it as a monitor, a XB1, a PS4 and the Comcast Cable box.

This TV has a excellent picture just make sure you have a H.D. service.The TV ,also, has 4 HDMI inputs most TVs have just 3
The preinstalled smart apps work perfectly on Wi-Fi or lan connection.

I have this as my outdoor TV. I bought a separate TV cover to protect it. I use WiFi and coax. Only complaint is that position of the VESA mounting holes at the back of the TV is way too low which causes the TV to always tilt.

Great picture and size but the internet wants to constantly say I'm not connected and I'm hard wired with 200 mbs .so I'm pretty sure it's the tv cause nothing else seems to have problems

First impressions out of the box is that this is an attractive, thin bezeled panel. It would look good mounted on a wall (as we do) or on a shelf. However, the stand that comes with the television is thin, flimsy plastic; read as: you can twist the stand and snap it in half if you chose to try. The metal pieces exist only at the stand’s mount points and do not stretch across the length of the base.

under 2 years old wont turn on quick google found power supply board went out,, every retailer has item out of stock so I'm guessing its a wide spread problem ,, tv also had a PlayStation store so i could play some PlayStation games with my tv with my PlayStation controller well that lasted about 60 days after i bought my tv Sony disconnected this service, that was the main reason i bought this tv from other brands,, this was the last tv i bought and first one to stop working i have 8 other tv's 3-6 years older non sony brands that are still working that have way more viewing time on them

Really disappointed with my decision on this TV. Took almost six months of researching and decided on this one from over 500 reviews and compelling raves about it. Pixilation very bad and most broadcasted channels blurred. Would not recommend at all.

Bought this tv about 2 years ago, it was nice for the first year and a half and was thrilled to have it in my home theater. Two years later the entire right side is dark and I have a white line going across the top, most likely a bad LED. I called Sony and was told to call a repairman for service and I should expect the repair to be 500.00 or more.
I'll never buy another Sony product again and might as well throw this junk in the trash.

TV is junk, bought it to watch netflix and when you click for it to play movie the movie plays for 1 to 2 seconds then it automatically switches itself to video 1. You usually have to try playing 3 or 4 times before you actually get to watch the movie. Also don't like the layout of the remote.
