I understood there was a problem with light bleeding on this TV, but it was resolved. I bought it in good faith that this was the case, but upon reception, we found it to have a halo effect on the screen. We returned it and got a Samsung in the end. The TV however looked great and the quality was ideal for more natural colors, but I think I just got a dud. I heard plenty of other people who did have the problem I had.

This is my first Sony, I have always bought "cheaper" brand name TV's before this one. Great 4 k picture with my xbox one, love the built in android TV. Very easy programming.

4 Stars. Product purchased on March 2016. I'm pretty much a "Sony-phile", but have been open to the other TV brands. Overall, Sony can't be beat for picture clarity, sharpness, 4K crispness, the upscaling, ergonomics, and beauty. Sony sets the Standard. I read about the bleeding at the bottom edges of the screen, and did not initially notice it in the showroom. 1. Because the yellow energy usage sticker covered the right corner and 2. The demos running didn't have many black pictures. Mostly vivid colors and fast motion. After studying it more carefully, it's nearly imperceptible in the 55", but noticeable in the 65" if you are looking for it. I bought both the XBR-55X900C and the XBR-65X900C since both pictures and slim profile are beautiful and were on sale. Almost half off the original msrp. The 55" will be used in a bedroom and the 65" in the family room. They look wonderful hanging on the room's respective walls with Sony-supplied U-hoop brackets. The only problem I had and was quite surprised with Sony is that the supplied brackets were different for the 2 models which only difference was their size. And the bigger model had less hardware than the smaller model. I even called Sony 3 times and they had no idea why it would be different. Last time I spoke with them, the representative said he'd call me back which he never did. I ultimately just had to swap some pieces and screws between the 2 TV's, of course, using more screws to secure the bigger TV. It's a Great TV for the price. You cannot find a better 65" TV on the market at this price.

I guess I am spoiled by my top of the line 75" Sony, as this TV doesn't quite live up to the performance. That being said however, I am very pleased with this TV. It is our main living room TV and the family loves it. The picture is very sharp, there is very little motion blur and the edge lighting is fairly uniform, yet on an all-black screen you can see that it's not evenly distributed, having several lighter spots. This is not noticeable during normal TV watching. This TV is perfect for that. I wouldn't recommend it for your home theater if you have high standards, but you'll be thoroughly pleased with it as a family TV.

We went from a 55 inch to this 65 and we couldn't be happier. The picture is so clear and bright. Honestly the colors are amazing and we are so happy with our purchase.

The TV's I looked at while in the store for 3 hours were all very good. The customer service I was given by a couple of employees helped me narrow down the features I wanted. In the end, looking at several TVs, I couldn't tell the difference, they had the same features, so it became an issue of price point. The Sony Bravia was the least expensive.

When my top of the line Sammy plasma died when not quite 3 years old, and there was no way to get parts for repair, I was back in the market for a high end TV. This Sony fit the bill with picture quality as subtle as plasma and 4k to boot. With the end of model year big price drops, the price was great as well. The Android TV operating menu structure takes some getting used to, but not a negative.

Purchased this TV on the recommendation of the Sony specialist in the store. I knew I wanted a Sony and was just narrowing it to the 65" TV's they had. TV has an outstanding picture. There is some bleeding on the edge of the screen. but the picture has to be almost all black for it to see it. Under normal viewing, not an issue. Sound out from the TV is rather weak for the size of the TV. Purchased the Sony soundbar with the TV and sound is now great. Easy set up other than wanted to move the legs of the TV to the alternative position. No where in the instructions did it state how you change the position.

Great picture, easy to operate, good price. Hook up by the geek squad was flawless.

I worked very hard trying to select a quality TV. There are so many choices. I decided on this one because of the stunning picture. You can't go wrong with a Sony,

I looked at reviews of this TV before I purchased it...Wow what a picture and it was very easy to set up. I highly recommend this TV. The upscaling is amazing.

The tv is wonderful. The color and clarity is great even when the shades are open in the day. There's no place in the room that you cannot see the picture.

I have no complaints about it so far, the picture is great, I'm happy with the apps on it, and I was able to finance at 0% through best buy

I like this tv from the previous years model. I get a lot of compliments on how thin it is. The tv is thinner than my iPhone 6S plus. Fits on my ikea stand. The new android tv interface is way user friendly than the previous model. Tvs has rich and vibrant colors. My only complaint is the somewhat white in the corners. Only noticeable when the screen displays a black image

We're certainly not TV connoisseurs, but ended up buying this TV due to its reviews, specifications, and wanting something that would stay on the front side of TV technology for a little bit. The TV seems to live up well to its billing--Image quality for both DVD and Blueray movies (I suppose due to the upscaling) and sports has been excellent. The look of the TV is quite cool as well, with it being the thinnest one out there (at least from what we understand). Prices were starting to come down when we purchased, which also made it easier to take the plunge.

At glance it looks great, design is one of the best I have seen. 4k looks amazing but the issue that I have and it's a deal breaker for me is the fact that has some bleeding issues when watching movies with pillar box or anything truly black. it gets so annoying. not what I expected from a sony product.

Great picture on this TV. Very thin design. It comes with it's own wall mount and if used it looks like a picture hanging on the wall. Only down side is finding a web browser and using the remote for web browsing. However this is not a major issue. The quality of the picture far out weighs this. Much more brilliant picture than LG or Samsung in the same price range.

The picture quality is amazing, I now have 3 Sony smart Tv's and this is the best one... The Tv is so thin and looks great mounted on the wall..

The TV looks amazing above our fireplace. It has a perfectly clear picture and even though we added a sound bar the sound is amazing without it.
