||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would buy this TV again. The pictures clarity, sound, and color are heard to bear. This tv performs like tvs that cost way more than this.

Great for the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent TV for the money. Minimal light bleed around the edges but to be expected at this price. Definitely a step up from my old HP Plasma.

TV lives up to the Sony name
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV was easy to install, set up and connect. Picture quality is excellant. The one thing I would like is better sound. In a quiet setting the sound is good, with background noise, it's difficult to hear. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

Clear Picture
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I viewed so many reviews on 65" 4K television prior to buying, that I can now write a book. I had a certain limit I was willing to spend as this is my 3rd television in the home located in a room that is not frequently used. I narrowed my search to Sony and Samsung. This model had quite a few bad reviews when first released last year, but the more recent reviews were better and stated that the bleeding and several other minor issues had been corrected. I love the thinness of the television. The clarity is great! I'm still getting familiar with all the apps. The Sony app that allows me to use the Sony remote to operate all devices connected is a bit fickle. I'm not sure if it's user error or the tv. It initially worked, but now it is not. I purchased a sound bar about 2 weeks later. It is needed to give you that theater sound, but the volume is really good on its on. All in all. I like the TV; which is great for the price.

light coming out from the bottom corners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This brand new TV has light bleeding out the bottom corners and starting to go up the sides. I bought the Geek Squad protection plan for close to $600, and spent over an hour on the phone being transferred from one person to the next until someone finally addressed the situation and made an appointment for someone to come over and look at it. I later heard that this problem with this particular TV is common and SONY is aware of it. I called Best Buy and they said they knew nothing about it.

Great image
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV. It has great color and the image is very clear. The draw back is that at times it has trouble connecting to Netflix and a few times there have been static waves

My 1st 4k tv...Great decision
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I shopped for several mths b4 settling to buy this tv. I went to brandsmart, best buys, hhgregg, frys repeatedly b4 purchasing this model. I read alot of reports about light bleeding, which does occur in 16:9 format but when when tv is in full mode with no black bar at the bottom, poof no more light bleed. With all the features this tv has, the light bleed is a slight inconvenience I can live with. Great TV, it's awesome.

Incredible Picture!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read many reviews about this tv, and there were many complaints about "light bleed".. I have not experienced this issue. This TV is absolutely worth buying! Extremely clear picture, very easy to use, as a Smart TV, a lot of apps, and very slim! We had a Samsung Ultra slim, prior to this purchase, and have to say, Sony's product is much better. As you can tell, we're extremely pleased with it. And Best Buy did a great job installing this 65' TV, and the 42' we bought for the guest room. Well done, Sony!

Nice design, bad light bleeding and contrast
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is very thin, has nice physical design, however very noticeable backlight bleed especially in the corners. Black levels are pretty bad, and end up looking dark grey in dark scenes. Switching out for the HDR model which should have better contrast and color reproduction.

Poor quality, broken after two years
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve owned my Sony xbr65x900c for around two years after paying around $2000 for it and I unplugged it the other day and plugged it back in and now it won’t work. After plugging it back in it starts up for a minute but won’t function with any buttons then shuts off and goes into boot loop clicking on and off repeatedly. I was advised by Sony support to try a hard restart which didn’t do anything then to download the latest update to a usb drive and plug it in which I did and the tv said it already has the latest version downloaded. Then they pretty much told me to hire a tv servicer to come and repair whatever the issue is and that I’d have to cover all costs because my warranty was up after one year which according to other posts having similar issues is around $1000. This seems kind of pointless for a tv that will probably need another $1000 in around two more years. I have a Sharp tv that has been working for longer for a fraction of the cost.

Oh yeahhhhh....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Read Consumer Reports and went in to buy an LG 65" I could afford. Somehow wasn't wowed. So walked over to the Open Box section and they had literally just taken this model off the truck. By "Open Box", someone must have only opened it to look inside because everything was factory sealed. It was a brand new Sony Bravia thinnest-scree-ever selling for $1444 (vs $4000). Merry Christmas! Love the TV and especially love the web content offered by Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, etc. Just a great thing to own.

Wow wow and wow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live this TV. The picture is soon crisp and clear and the 3d is better than any I have seen. I read the reviews on the light bleed. I saw what that looked like in the store. Fornthe price I felt that it was not that noticeable. Fortunately my set did not have that issue. Even my wife is impressed and that is no easy feat.
