When I got home with it I looked up the reviews and they were not to my satisfaction. Major problem with light bleed even though the company said it was fixed. Returned it. Did not want to take the chance.

Other reviews blame the screen being distorted by the legs, but the 5 year warranty and get the new model after a year or two. So worth it! No regrets !

Light Bleed Galore

The picture is not as sharp, and nor are the speakers. I messed with the setting for about an hour, still could not get the brightness and sharpness that I wanted. Went and got the SUHD 8500 from Samsung. Best choice I have made! Amazing, right out of the box!

Other then that android tv rocks and picture quality is amazing

I got the open box so right after Super Bowl I notice how the tv would turn off by itself and flash red by Sony sign. Called Sony about the problem showed them my receipt and apparently they had heard this problem before and had an update. So they sent me a brand new one thru one of there companies within a week and we just fell in love with the screen and bright colors. Couldn't have ask for a better deal

The picture is really sharp and it was just what I wanted in a larger TV. Would highly recommend this TV.... I have been using Sony TV's since 1973.

We had a Sony before it's about 13 yrs old and still works great. So we went with Sony again. The Sony representative really sold us on this model. No regrets

Seems I have to turn up the volume and it still isn't as loud as I would expect. (Comparing it to my 46" Samsung) But other wise great TV!

Amazing how thin the screen is......like a pane of glass, and the picture quality is excellent.

The one thing I have to complain about is regarding the design of the "back" of the TV if you hang it on the wall. Apparently, Sony must assume that everyone has a stereo receiver that will accept HDMI cables and that no-one uses audio cables anymore. The HDMI ports are nicely tucked away in the back of the TV and you plug them in sideways so that they will still allow the TV to lay flat against the wall. However, if you need to plug in audio cables the port only allows you to plug straight in (not sideways) and they didn't leave you enough space to do this properly. So, what happens is that your TV sticks off the wall about 3/4 of an inch at the bottom which is more than all the other sides. It doesn't look right once hung. What I had to do is find specialty cables (audio plus fiber optic) that have 90 degree angles so they can lay relatively flat in the back of the TV space so the TV lays flat against the wall. I think in Sony's effort to make this TV so thin they just didn't really think about a detail like this. Overall a great TV though. If you don't plan on hanging it on the wall you won't have this problem.

The negatives one took me back a bit, but I am a long term user of Sony products so I took a chance with it. Very happy with my choice. Excellent TV
