So let me start by saying this TV (especially at the $2499.99 price) is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. The picture quality, the design everything about the TV screams high-end. HOWEVER, this TV does suffer from HORRIBLE light bleed if you get a bad unit. I read the reviews online before purchasing but I figured a) Apparently it only effected the first batch of TVs and b) What are the odds I'll get a bad unit? So I picked one up during Black Friday and setup Christmas day. Right away, LIGHT BLEED badly along the left and right corners and middle, the light in the middle was the worst as it wasn't uniform. After a couple of days it got REALLY BAD, so bad that I could see it even during semi-bright scenes. So I went back into Best Buy to set up an exchange of the unit. By the way, Best Buy is AWESOME, the sales guys at the Sunny Vale were great. They gave me no hassle and set up a delivery exchange a couple days later. I decided to give Sony another chance, again aside from the light bleed issues, this TV IS AMAZING. The other TVs I was looking at were the Samsung JU7500 (not really into Curved though) and the Samsung JS8500 (I would have to shell out an extra $500). Got my exchange delivery yesterday and setup the new unit. Right away I noticed the box was packaged slightly different and the serial number was of a much higher number, so I knew the unit was from a newer build date. Powered and set it up and first, NO LIGHT BLEED AT ALL. I was so happy. However, after about an hour or so some light bleeding started to show up in the left corner and slightly in the middle. This time though, it WAS VERY FAINT, I only really notice it when the screen goes completely black at the bottoms and when watching dark scenes (only notice it in the left corner), but again it's BARELY noticeable. Unlike before where it was extremely evident, even in some brighter scenes. So conclusion? Again this TV is AMAZING, beautiful picture, ultra slim design that really impresses. I'm going to wait a couple of days to see if the LIGHT BLEED gets any worse, if I does I will be going with a Samsung model. Again I can barely, barely notice it in this new unit, but I wouldn't go out and say that Sony fixed this issue 100%. If you get a bad unit, do not hesitate to exchange it. Once you get a good unit, you will definitely be happy with this purchase.

Sony has a great reputation, so to see this tv for such a great price with the picture and options it has, we had to purchase it. We are definitely not disappointed. And Best Buy was very helpful with the purchase.

This TV is phenomenal!!! The picture is super high def and it is incredibly thin. It comes with a low profile mount that is really easy to install. It's so thin that it melts into the wall like a window. Great buy!!!

We are thoroughly enjoying our new TV, which replaces a very old, old, out of date TV console/cabinet unit. Picture quality is outstanding. Really enjoying the sports events now. Would recommend this to others.

It's big. It's bright and it has great colors. I ove that there are different modes for different types of programs such as Sports mode, cinema mode, gaming mode. There are 4 HDMI inputs and digital audio out.

Love it more than my other Sony TV now I have 3 Sony TV

Love the look of this TV mounted on the wall. It is thin and sleek and fits our modern living room. Quality is great and the mini remote is used more often than the bigger remote. Voice command is convenient too.

I have had this tv for two weeks now and I'm still in love with it. My only complaint is that it isn't bluetooth compatible with soundbar. I was also hoping that it would be bluetooth compatible with my JBL speaker, but the television doesn't recognize it when searching for available devices. Other than that, it's an absolutely amazing tv.

Nice tv. Does what was advertised. This tv does have more white showing up In the black areas than I like but I knew it would be there unless I stepped up with more money to the back lit. Very good for the price.

Incredible TV.....my last TV was a Sony and lasted 15 years...it was still going but I had to get rid of it to make room for this beauty. Also GeekSquad was amazing...they hooked everything up with no problem.

Beautiful picture. Easy to hookup. Sound is a little weak.

Love it, love it love it. Great for a bright room. Does it have some light bleed? Yes, but has only bothered me once in a year of use. If you like dark movies you may have a problem but if not it's great.

This TV has everything you could possibly want or need

This is my second Bravia TV within the last 10 years. Old one is still kicking but I needed a bigger TV in the man cave. Paired with the Sony STR-DN1060 receiver, Klipsch Quintet surround speakers and Klipsch 12" subwoofer sounds and looks like I'm in an IMAX theater.
