I read lots of reviews of this TV and was well aware of the light bleed issues. I visited 5 Best Buy stores and none of the display units had any hint of a problem. I spoke with the sales staff in every store, I even spoke with a Sony rep for about half an hour. None of them seemed aware there was any problem with the current models. I purchased one and took it home. The first thing I noticed was light going up both sides of my screen and across the bottom. It wasn't uniform, it looked like someone was holding a pen light at the bottom of the screen. I packed it up that night and returned it to Best Buy a few days later. They had another on in the store, so I decided to give it another try. They had no problem with me opening the TV and setting it up in the store. As soon as I powered it up, the light bleed was obvious. It wasn't as bad as the first, but it was there. The sales guy that I had been talking to before I purchased was in the store. He came up and looked at it and agreed that I shouldn't accept the TV, so we boxed it up and they ordered me a third one. I picked up the third set a few days later. I didn't have time to open it in the store, but I was prepared to return it and go with a different TV if this one had the same problem. I powered up the third set, and saw no issues. Beautiful display with zero light bleed. It took three tries, but I finally found a TV that looks as good as the display models.

Great giant tv but finding 4K content to watch is tricky

Great picture easy to set up very good price! I compared to a lot of other brands and Sony always comes on top!! The sound could be a little better but I purchased a Sony sound bar and that did the job!!

great tv my family and i haven't turned it off yet lol

I purchased the SONY 65" (LED, 2160p, Smart, 3D, and 4K Ultra HD), model XB65900C a year ago. The first two months it worked great, so keep in mind I can't return it now. I have also purchased the two-year warranty for this TV. The following issues have been occurring from month two to currently today. 1. The TV is restarting while watching something on the HDMI setting and an online app. for example (Youtube, Hulu, and Netflix). 2. There is bleeding light's on all four of the corners. As well as the bottom horizontal frame. I was told by a GeekSquad member on the phone three months ago, to purchase a LED strip light to help with that issue. Unfortunately, now I have a bright light in front and back of the TV. That was no help at all. Today on May 9, 2017, I finally had the GeekSquad come to the house to view the issues. Unfortunately, it restarts when it wants so good luck with that. Also, during the day you can't see the bleeding lights. You would have to view it during night time to see them shine bright like a diamond. They also told me that SONY wouldn't honor the warranty for fixing the bleeding lights or replacing the TV. What point is there to have a warranty if they won't honor it. I'm stuck with a television buy SONY made to learn from their mistakes for the next manufacture tv's being made, Thank you so very much for your lack of honor. The GeekSquad told me to unplug the HDMI cords and monitor for more restarts, and that's all. Now don't get me wrong, GeekSquad was more helpful than the SONY customer service members. Also, they will continue to look into it. I honestly didn't get the point to drive all the way over here for something they could have told me over the phone. I recommend you stay away from SONY Televisions!

Great tv........bit difficult to access the configs

I am very happy to report that this Sony TV has the best picture I've ever seen on a 4K TV. Even with all the reviews of light bleed - which doesn't exist on my TV - I guess I got lucky. Love the TV.

We are really happy with this TV. A beautiful picture! We have numerous Sony products and are satisfied with all of them, including a Sony TV that is 9 years old, The company makes great products!!

Wish this TV had Bluetooth headphone compatibility.

Solid TV but there is some white space in TV corners

I love this television already and I've barely had it a month. The resolution is amazing and it's the first smart TV that I've owned so I'm really enjoying playing around with all the new features.

The picture is awesome, and the features on this TV are easy to use. We feel like we are at the movie theater when we use our Bose sound bar with the DVD's. We are so happy with the quality too!!

Another excellent quality from Sony as expected...

The picture quality is exceptional. Most notably the vivid reds and yellows. Sound is pretty good but you will for sure need a sound bar or other sound system to match the great picture quality.

I saw this tv on the best buy website and was impressed with the ratings. I found the sales person to be very helpful in making the purchase and sale after an easy setup couldn't be happier.

The white shading on the edges needs to be fixed!!

The sale price made me choose the Sony versus the Samsung similar model. I'm very happy with the picture, sound and "smart" aspects of the tv. Greta product and great salesperson advice.

TV picture and features are good. But the wireless card in TV is disappointing, I have to do network setup each time I turn the TV on. Not a good purchasing choice on Sony....don't buy it...

The delivery and setup by the Geek Squad was excellent. The removal of the old TV, etc was perfect. We are extremely pleased with our purchase of this Sony system with sound system.

AWESOME TELEVISION!!! On sale! Open box! Perfect 4K Television!! The Olympics looked stunning on it! Even Ryan Lochte looked very clear on the security cameras!! Great TV! But one!
