Way too thin - unforgivable light bleed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have always loved Sony and the brand, but this tv, despite having amazing colors and picture clarity, is one of the worst products Sony has ever produced. It was made so thin, that the light bleeds from each and every corner directly onto the picture. I went through two of these TVs in a week before just giving up and going with a different brand. Do NOT buy.

Remote control and changing channel.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1.Changing channel and volume button too small, should be at the bottom. 2 changing channel either up or down, taking time 2 to 4 second.

I take it back::: Light Bleeding struck!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sony is well aware of the light bleeding issue with this TV. I made a review on the TV 2 days after purchase since light bleeding was minimal. It is a beautiful unit and besides the light bleed, it's stunning. But the light bleeding is no longer minimal. It got worst. Sony did take care of this issue.....Best Buy has nothing to do with the faulty product. I would stay clear from the product and buy a Sony with no bleeding issues.

Poor TV reliability
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv has been amazing since 2 years ago. Had connectivity problems to wifi. Great picture and features. It died 2 years after purchase and was either a $95 part or the panel was fried. Panel was friend. $2000 tv should last longer than 2 years

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed with Sony TV. Can't stream Amazon Prime music and Les Mills workout program CAN NOT be streamed If we had known the lack of connectivity or should I say Lack of *** we would have purchased a cheaper tv and streaming device. MINIMAL light bleed does NOT ruin this amazing TV!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, I got my second XBR65X900C delivered earlier this month. My first one had pretty bad light bleed on both lower corners, especially in the lower left corner. It reminded me of the 'Bat signal', but I didn't need help from Batman. I needed a TV without this glaring defect, which also managed to distort the color and image in that very corner too. In addition, a couple of dead pixels and a lack of picture uniformity was more than enough to arrange for an exchange of this TV. This new one which I have now, is incredible. No distortion of color or image, no dead or stuck pixels, and a picture that is absolutely stunning. OTA broadcast TV looks better that I've ever seen. If you can receive local stations through an antenna like I do, I think you'll agree, the picture quality is better than cable or satellite. Why 4 stars and not 5? The simple answer is…there is still some light bleed. It is nowhere near the amount that the first TV had, and is not very noticeable under most viewing conditions. When contemplating another exchange, I felt that the chances of getting one that is better than almost perfect, is not likely. Right now, I have no dead pixels, great color and picture uniformity, astounding image clarity and quality, and the 3D is the best I've experienced on a TV thus far, approaching the quality of a movie theater. The color and clarity of the image is realistic and incredible. Are the blacks OLED quality? No. The off axis viewing angle is also quite good. Because it is an IPS (TruView display) panel, one of the few Sony makes, everyone in the room gets a great seat, regardless of the viewing angle. 4K Netflix and 4K Youtube work flawlessly and look fantastic. In summary, I feel that this TV represents a great value at its current selling price, it has one of the best aesthetic designs available, and if you can get past the potential of a small amount of light bleed, which I believe is due to it's excessively thin profile, then you are in for a home theater viewing treat!
