HDMI issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the TV for about a week and it was great for my cable and Nvidia shield. I learned it could do full screen mutiplayer games for 2 people and started hooking up my Playstations and Xbox one along with the WiiU. After plugging everything in I turned on the TV and was getting no signal from any HDMI. My Nvidia still turned the TVon and switch to the source but still no signal. I returned it and picked up another and this time hooked everything up before even plugging the TV in.......same exact problem No Signal message. I highly doubt I will give this TV a third try it's a shame too because it looked beautiful.

GARBAGE NEVER SONY AGAIN
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WHERE DO I START Lets see when you first turn tv on it has whats called a "warm up time" and nothing is accessable and it takes forever, secondly it makes noises on and off its extremely extremely annoying it ruins a tv expirence it clicks pops and is never ending. checked other models of sonys and notice they do this also hard to hear in stores because stores have so much going on so many people sounds tvs on radios so you dont hear it. its just auwful honestly only good this is screen brightness even the 4k isnt that great this tv was the worst purchase in my entire life its really that bad people who never owned 4k or owned elite brand tvs will probably rate this high but if you have owned good tvs and get this good luck and get ready for torture and regrets

Severe Light Bleed

The XBR-65X900C should not be sold at any Best Buy. All I said when I returned to the store was "Light Bleed" and 2 members of the sales team said "You must have a 900C" they know its junk but continue to sell it.

Screen Bleed!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super excited about my purchase a few weeks ago, until I started watching a movie that has the widescreen view with the black bars and noticed that the screen bleeds all throughout the bottom of the TV and is worse on the right side. I tried to get past it and just ignore it, but once I saw it I couldn't un-see it. I am hoping best buy will accept my return tomorrow. I am exchanging it for a Samsung!

Good looking tv until you turn on
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The bleed issue was terrible but I got to live with it. My purchase was made09/04/2016. I was told to download updates and the bleed issue would go away but it did not. Fast forwArd to 12/23/2018. The tv just shut down and wouldn’t come on with a red light across. Research across the internet suggests the main board is toast. This tv barely lasted 4 years. I can figure out what to do with this junk.

XBR-65900C Stopped Working!!

All the HDMI inputs suddenly stopped working. I tried resetting the TV, but it didnt work. I should have purchased Samsung instead, but I was fooled by the salesman as well of how great this TV is.
