I am angry that the sales person wouldn't change my contact information on rewards card and did not offer me the free setup for purchases over $1599.00.....I spent over $2100.00

I had an OLED LG9300 TV and even though the blacks in the new Sony are not as good as my OLED, the picture in general for any given TV program is 100% better than my old OLED, I can certify that blacks are not everything. I guess the secret is the brightness the TV can achieve which OLED will never be able to provide. The salesman told me this TV was much better than the so called best reviewed P series from Visio (I was going to buy that one), it looked better on the store I had much doubts, but when I started watching the cable I was blown away, everything I watched looked as I've never seen before, images are impossible to be better than this. I guess is the technology behind the the upscale, it must be a reason for the quality and maybe this is why I have not seen any content in 4K that really blows me away as watching regular TV as I noticed a lot of snow when I see 4K, but I mainly stream it as I cannot spend $400 in a player if I cannot rent the movies. If you watch cable this the TV for you at the right price!

We purchased this TV to replace a 60 inch LG plasma that we enjoyed for 8 years with the only reason to replace was light reflection from a window after moving it to a new location. I am sorry to say we still have the same problem just not as severe. The picture on this TV is to say the least,, fantastic. The colors are more vibrant and sharp it is just so much more. We also have a 53 inch Toshiba LCD and the Sony takes it hands down. We have a 7.1 surround sound system hooked up to the Sony so we have no knowledge of the sound on this set. We read all the reviews on this TV and saw a term light bleeding in a dark room. During the evening hours we watch TV with very little light to none and I see no evidence of a problem in this area,, it's just an awesome picture, my only regret is that I didn't open my wallet wider and get the 75 inch.

I had to bring it back due to android kept reseting the TV and I don't like to be in the middle of a movie or a game and having a TV reset. Not happy.

Purchased tv, by the time it was out of the box and set up a scratch was discovered. I was past my "15 day" window for a return. Very disappointed.

This tv glitched like crazy! Every fast paced movie i watched weather on cable or blueray. It had a horrible picture. I returned this product

The colors and details POP on this TV. The upscaling of HD programs and 4K Movies are UNBELIVABLE. Some people say 4K is like looking out your window Its much better. A BIG THANK YOU TO SONY for getting the Hackers out of the Smart System of the TV, It took a while but they took care of the problem. If you have any problems with your TV call Sony they will take care of you.

I've been using this tv for almost a week now. I read reviews about how the remote stop working, but it hasn't for me. Picture quality one of the best compared to my old tv, especially if you watching movies or shows that was shot in high quality(4K). It makes me feel like I'm right in the same room as them, the picture display is so crisp and clear. That's what I love about this tv. Aside from the display quality, the set up is really simple and easy to use.

Geek squad did an awesome Some job installing. everything now synchs up with the previous installation that wAs pro lematic.

The TV randomly shuts down. And has control boxes that you cannot remove without shutting off the TV or unplugging it

This tv is ok but the refresh rate of 120 Hz is not as good as Samsungs 120 Hz. Will be returning and buying a Samsung.

Never again. already spent 3 hours on the phone with Sony and they still have not done anything to make it tight

We bought with the warranty and ended using it the first 2 weeks after purchasing it from Best Buy.

I was hesitant to buy a SONY after the kind of TV's they produced in 2015 but this changes everything. SONY is back as the best TV maker out there. The picture quality is Superb. Design is sleek and sharp. Don't think twice before buying this TV. I have to play with 4K content yet but so far, it's doing a great job. One more think, there is almost no input lag when changing channels or going from Cable to Internet and back and forth.

Donot buy its a bad tv i return it for a samsung ks8000 which is 1000 times better

Broke day 1, wouldn't turn on. Steer clear of Sony. Stick to samsung

The XBR65X850D is the total package: tops at upscaling non 4K, excellent motion, great picture, and good contrast and blacks all for about half the cost of an OLED. Read on if you want more details. I researched all the brands and for me it came down to the 3 Sony’s. The 850 has the Triluminos Display and the X1 Processor that the 750 does not. The 930 has slim backlight drive and X-Tended Dynamic Range Pro but was priced $600 higher for what I perceived as slight improvements. (For my use the 3D on the 930 would have been a waste.) Some reviews mentioned bleeding and poor black levels on the 850 but I haven’t witnessed any shortcomings there. Sites like rtings and 4K were mostly positive but CNET’s assessment had me worried for no reason. (Color accuracy and motion clarity are more important to me than having deep blacks as I value color more than black and white!) Since we use an older surround sound system the internal speakers were not a factor. Seldom have I been more pleased with a purchase as no one set has it all. But the 850 proved to be the best all around choice if you consider pricing in the equation.

In my personal opinion this is the best bang for the buck your money can buy for a 4K TV at this price point! I upgraded my previous set which was also a Sony 4K but was now a couple years old in the 55x850B. I knew I wanted a bigger screen, and HDR was a must, and HDR was the main driving factor for the upgrade. Truthfully at the time of purchase, I had minimal expectations when experiencing much change in picture (HDR aside) but I was pleasantly surprised that everything looked better! I also have the Samsung 4K UHD Blu Ray player and was blown away at the difference in the quality of picture. I caught myself fully engaged in movies I have seen dozens of times! What is truly remarkable is the ability for this TV to bring older classic shows/movies to life from 60's-90's era. They look as if they were made yesterday. There are a lot of useful apps and readily available 4K content available for rent/purchase right out of the box. A lot of individuals complain about the cost of 4K content ($30 to purchase, $4.99 to rent older titles), but really people??! If you spend this kind of money or more for a 4K TV then be prepared to shell out extra cash for the content and higher end audio equipment in speakers, receiver, sub, etc. I get sick of reading reviews complaining of the lack of the quality of audio provided through the built in factory speakers. Do yourself a favor and buy this TV along with a legit sound system and you will not be disappointed!
