We also had the opportunity to see the TV in action at a colleague's house, and we were impressed by not only its image quality, but also by its functionality and Smart-TV options. Beware of 4K TV's with lower refresh rates. They may claim 120Hz or more, but there exists a table which clarifies which manufacturer actually adheres to the quoted rates!

Great value

Have another 65" Sony tv and with both hooked up to the same DIRECTV source think this gives a better picture. Have not hooked up any of the smart tv functions as I have an Apple TV for that so can't comment on those features. Native sound is ok, but have a dedicated home theater setup so that's going to trump any onboard sound from any tv. The regular speakers are fine for the kids

Especially when it comes to mating the Sony with your cable stuff and controller and external receivers for sound, etc. No set-up manual for that. But as TV itself, very very nice! 4K has wow factor. Sony could so better on the manual that's for sure!
