The Best Sony 65" What Stands Out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This 65" Bravia is the best. I have purchased Vizio, RCA, and Samsung and this Sony Bravia is the best. I opted out of the 4K version because it was so detailed at the store, it actually started to give me a headache just watching it. Like glasses that are too strong. You can't get that quality at home yet because they don't broadcast in 4K. Yes you can get some Netflix and DVD players to boost it to look better but this TV just had everything I needed. The blacks are super black and the colors are rich. The volume has very fine micro settings so there aren't big jumps in the volume. Always perfect. The built-in Android software lets you see Netflix and Amazon movies if you like. You can switch to over the air broadcast with one click when your cable goes out. It has 3D which worked but I never use it. Football is super clear and it even has a football button to make the colors brighter if you like. There is no blur with sports so you see the ball or fast car fly across the screen in super clear vision. Ours is on the stand on a low table and it looks great. Got this at Best Buy over Amazon because of the delivery. They deliver it, set it up, turn it on, and see that its not dead or have a pixel issue right out of the box. This service was great so if any problems showed up, back it would go right then. Good luck getting that service with an Internet purchase. Everything works great and I got the extended warranty just in case. I'm sure this TV has tons more features but it does the basics like a Sony. Buy it.

I did have to return the first one because of picture jumping horizontally. Best Buy helped me with a great attitude !!! Great TV and great customer service=Great experiece/Happy customer

Sometimes I wonder if I bought a 4k or not when I put on a blue ray or just a good HD Channel source. Highly recommend getting an audio quest hdmi cable even thou its made for 4k it will serve the HD t.v better.

The updates are a total waste of time. Sometimes you need to keep the TV off for 30 min. while it is updating. You definitely need a sound bar.. For the price paid (1,499.99) and being a Sony I was expecting something much better.

High speed motion sports and gaming, even on the 65", is great no blurring or visible pixels. Sound quality is fair. The reason for the 4 star. Get a sound bar or surround system. There are numerous audio setting that may help this, but... I don't see an amplification setting. Kiddie corner on a wall shelf 4 feet from ceiling, still quiet. Using my sound bar for watching tv, surround sound for movies and games, and the on board speakers if my daughter is napping, lol.
