Great tv, picture first class. 3D works really well. Only down side are the need to buy glasses as extra.

Picture is sharp, with full color and at 65 inches, for sports such as golf or football, put you right in the action. Upconversion from 1080 to 4k is better than I expected, with most 480 and 720 looking almost 1080. Delivery and setup was done well also, and 1080 dvd player works well with tv.

To say that I love my TV is an understatement. It's the best TV I've ever had. The technology behind the enhanced color processor is light-years ahead of any other UHD 4K (maybe besides the OLED). When you see this side-by-side with other 4K models in the same price range, you can truly see the depth to the picture quality. I've owned other major brands, but movies were literally made by Sony for Sony. Sports aren't my thing, but even if they were, this bad boy can keep up with anything. The definition in the blacks and whitest whites are what drew me to end up purchasing this TV. If there was one bad thing I had to say it's that I think 2 remotes are unnecessary. Just get a universal remote and be done with it. It pairs easily with the other Sony products I've got in my home theater setup. I did have a question about it right out of the box, but Sony customer support was there at 11pm and got me up and running in under an hour. Don't bother with cheap imitators, you get what you pay for with this TV.

The picture quality is exceptional. The colors are incredibly bright and vibrant. So far I am very pleased.

We purchased this TV to replace a 55 inch DLP TV. So far it is great. Very easy to set up and the picture is very good. I didn't think we needed such a large TV in the living room, but my husband insisted we would be very happy with the extra inches (hee hee). I suppose I like the larger screen too.

I had been waiting on Sony to roll out their next generation of 4K TVs and jump ahead of LG and Samsung. The 850C was it. It brought the price down and provided a new level of detail and depth of color. The HD to 4K conversion is very good. Everything looks much better, even 720 broadcasts look better than 1080 did on the old HD set. The integration with the PS3 and PS4 was an unexpected benefit. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is due to the sound. Most of the super thin TVs have poor sound since there is no room for decent speakers.

Over all we like this 65 Sony TV, it and it has many of the features we were looking for. We like the ability to use Amazon prime app, VUDU app and many others. We have another 55 Samsung Smart TV, so we have a comparison - one minor disappointment, we thought the color of the screen looked much brighter in Best Buy than when we got it home, however we found a button that enhances the color, that helped. The one draw back is the screen can have glare during the day. However, based on price comparison, it is a good investment for us.

This is my second Sony TV and they didn't leave me down with this one. Great picture and easy set up.

Had two plasma TVs before this one; each failed. Did a lot of research and read the reviews. The Geek Squad member that came to the house for the broken plasma recommended this TV. Went to the store and the home theater manager recommended the same one! Have no complaints; wonderful picture. Just waiting for everyone to come out with more 4K shows.

Used for a month so far, and thoroughly enjoying the experience. Picture quality is excellent. Doesn't work with my 3 year old 3d glasses, so will have to purchase updated ones. That's my only disapointment. Voice search is a little glitchy, but keyboard search is more user friendly compared to earlier sony models. Love the apps. Great TV overall.

all the TVs we have are Sony. So when it was time to upgrade to a 65 inch screen we went to Best Buy to see the 4K sets. After comparing various models we decided on this Sony. This set has a great picture. The colors seem natural, and the up converted images are very sharp. Well done Sony.

At first I was looking at a Samsung due to the fact that I just bought a Sony about 1.5 years ago and it went out on me. Once I started doing research and seen the picture quality I converted back to Sony.. I do suggest to always buy the protection plan.. That was a hard lesson to learn.

Very happy with the picture quality on my XBR65X850C. Set up was easy and user friendly as well.

Picture is breath taking Regular TV kills picture though, upscales but the 720p shows are just too obvious. That being said upgrade your shows to HD and the difference is worth it. New films are theater quality Colors are so true, you feel like you're in the setting. Great customizing options. The upgrades it downloads work well. Only thing that concerns me is running background apps, for some reason crackle keeps switching and noticed unused apps (factory settings) are working. Just explore and you can see its capabilities.
