The picture quality is excellent including the up-conversion to 4K. The Sony Android TV is great along with the Miracasting. I instantly wished my other TVs had this feature. With local antenna, internet streaming 4K and 5.1 along with my Blu Ray this TV allowed cable minimizing with my surround system as this TV passes through 5.1 coding from all of my inputs to the surround amp.

I am very satisfied with the picture quality and sharpness of this TV. I took the reviews into account in choosing this TV and am glad I did. Now I need to get a UHD source to really appreciate the superb quality.

Had it installed by Geek Squad. Good picture. Mediocre remote. Have played some 4k content from YouTube and Netflix and it delivers. However, it doesn't do deep blacks well. In fact, my ten year old plasma is better at that. Also, it has frozen up on me multiple times. I had to unplug it and let it reset. Had to do several system updates initially as well which took a long time.

This is a great tv. The 65" is just right for my living room and the tv stand. The tv base is in the middle, so the tv can overhang the tv stand. The controls are very good. Programming was easy, it picked up the wireless internet and updated by itself. It took awhile, but lets you know when it is done.

I had initially wen to look at the Samung but after researching Sony/Samsung- I felt compelled to buy the Sony. I like the Samsung remote more but given that the Sony would seamlessly integrate with my Sony receiver it has worked out well. The picture quality is incredibly with 4k content and even non-4k. However, my PS3 as a blu-ray now seems inadequate. Needing a nicer blu-ray.

Excellent 4K TV, plus best upscaling I've seen for 1080p and 720p sources. Smart function to connect to online sources yields great video. Minor problem with Amazon Prime: Amazon Prime does not stream 5.1 audio to this TV despite claims that it does. It's a problem with Amazon Prime, not the TV, since all other stream providers give 4k video and 5.1 audio as claimed.

Picture is great easy to set up. It would be nice if there was a user manual to explain a few functions.

I upgraded to this tv from my 2yr old Sony KDL60r550a (now my bedroom tv) which if you know tvs is a great tv in itself. Let me put it simple the Sony XBR65X850C blows it out of the water, smooth clear crisp vivid picture with unmatched definition. Would recommend to someone all day long.

Looked up t.v.'s and came down to the Samsung and the Sony. The true color comparison was the litmus test to determine which t.v. was best for me. each had great features but the Sony out performed the Samsung in direct side by side comparisons. Picture is great. Sound is wonderful for t.v. speakers and the wide variety of plug-in options made it perfect for us.

great picture and easy to use and love the quality of the television

This Sony TV is beyond my expectations. Just watching TV the picture is so great that you feel like you are viewing from inside the camera. I always hated viewing youtube on my PC or phone. Now I watch it on the TV and it is great. Watching movies (like Avatar) is a whole new experience.
