I thought my 1080P picture on my old TV was great until we plugged this one in ...... it's amazing. We installed new wiring and upgraded Direct TV and Netflix to deliver 4K to us and we couldn't be happier!

I am a Sony Fan, 99% of all my TVs are Sony. I am very please with the picture quality and network set process for this TV. The picture detail is great. I have not had the opportunity to watch a 3D movie as of this review due to waiting on the 3D glasses to be delivered.

didn't plan on buying sony when i went in store. but comparison in colors were dramatic compared to the samsung. don't really need 3d but sales rep talked us into it. still have not used. i think it was not worth the added price. could have gotten a bigger tv instead. but didnt want the hassel to return the item after already set up.

I was a little skeptical purchasing Sony brand, since iv only ever bought Samsung tvs. However this tv color quality is amazing!! I was very surprised once I got it set up at home of the color contrast and the detail it shows in dark movies. I would buy this again!

The picture is very clear. Had a Sony Bravia for the last 13 years and this one also has great picture. It is very smart and I am still learning a lot of features that this TV has,but hopefully I will find a teenager to teach me. Overall I am very happy with my buy.

Excellent picture, but get too many messages on the TV from Sony. This is very annoying.

We had high hopes, and this TV fulfilled them all. Primarily, we were interested in accurate color and a bright but not blazing screen. This TV does all that and has unbelievably crisp detail, even with 1080p streams. It's worth it, even at the current price point.

After using the TV for a few weeks, I feel I got my money's worth. Clear, 4k, Android TV, and very thin. When my kid uses his Xbox one, great display. Small complain is the TV stand is a bit flimsy. I decided to install rear straps, prevent the TV from tilting over.

PRO: -Great picture. Well worth it for that alone. CON: A bit buggy at times. -Using the built in guide froze the tv a few times. Once i turned it off, but the volume was still on, had to unplug it. -when casting a movie, if you enter the tv menu to change brightness, the movie stops and needs to be sent to chromecast again

This is my second Sony big screen television, the first being purchased over 10 years ago and still going strong. So far my experience with the XBR65X850C has been great. I hope to have 10-plus years of similar experience with this set as I have had with my first.

I like the fact that the TV is light weight and I simply had to add the the stand and it was ready to go. There are a lot of new techy features that are cool if only I knew how to use them. Although, I'm sure I'll figure it out. I was thinking I would get a curve TV but even sitting on the side, the picture on this TV is great!

Great picture however, controls are a bit confusing.

This Sony TV delivers a natural picture that grabs the attention. The capabilities are unlimited and the price is definitely at market value for this product. We are more than happy and our basement has become our favorite room in our home now. Good job Sony!

Very very nice. Some shows are incredible . I am getting some blur on some shows when theres fast moving. But not on live football which is strange. I did buy $40. 4k monster cables. I'll have to keep working on why thats happening. Very very happy with the tv

We've had SONY TV's for many years, because we know we can count on the excellence of their current product technology and outstanding quality--and we've never been disappointed! Just the right size for our living room, beautiful color, and innovative features....

Sure you can get a Vizio for less money but in my opinion this TV has the best picture and overall quality and good looks and I have not had any technical issues with a Sony TV. I also own an older 55 inch version in this class. The android engine is superb!

This was my first 4K television. I am so glad I went with Sony. With the correct adjustments. The soap opera effect was gone. Sports also look great. Connecting to windows 10 on my surface pro has been my only complaint. I hope updates will eventually fix this.

This TV has great picture and it doesn't feel like your overpaying for that quality. About the only issue is with the clouding that can happen with greys but honestly you cant expect to get rid of that on an LED TV at least not one that is not overpriced.

Loved my previous Sony but wanted to upgrade to the larger screen. Purchased this television as a Geek Squad Certified Open Box and saved. No regrets with that decision. The TV is mated to a DISH Hopper3 and the picture is crisp and bright when viewing HD, In Std Def, the picture is not very clear. Since we just switched to DISH from DirecTV, not sure if its the TV or satellite signal, but did not have that problem with the previous Sony & DTV. The default 'Sports' colors/brightness setting seems best for our room and most viewing, though some network shows seem to have what I'll call a 'soap opera' effect. I'll continue to tweak the color over time but overall I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Let me start by saying that all my life I have been a fan of Sony products. So when it came time to buy another TV there was not doubt that I was getting a Sony. However this latest experience with the Sony has me rethinking my preferred product name brand. I have already exchanged the TV once and which rules out that I could simply have a defective unit. This TV is horrible I believe all the issues are Android related. The remote doesn't always work. The Android interface is slow and stutters to the point that it is completely unusable and fustrationing. It's strange because it's not all the time and it's not my internet because I have 1gb service. While watching Tv the settings menu would randomly pop up. Happened twice in one night while watching Crackle. Other times the Crackle app would randomly open. The TV has really bad bleeding on gray which in its self is not so bad. What bugs me is that on my 2ND TV the discoloration is right smack in the middle! There is absolutely no way I can have light bleeding in the center of the screen. Buggy firmware I can deal with but not a poor picture At $2600 the thing should be flawless. With all the problems I would say the price point should be considerably lower Well needless to say I have given Sony a fare chance before I wrote my review because I tried contact customer support... No help. Also because I tried a second unit but the second one has had more problems than the first. At least the 1st had a beautiful screen and only suffered from buggy Android software and unresponsive remote. I also went to best buy and verified that that other Sony units would have the bleeding by changing what was displayed on the in store display models. None as bad as mine though. I regrettably must say that I am returning.. Yet again but this time for another brand. :(
