Bought a 65 initially and returned it for a 75" sony mainly because of the natural colors and 120 hz. and high motion rate, much better than other competitors, buyers many other brands call it by different names nice clean pix, only drawback it does not come with any pair of glasses given the steep price and the ability to play 3D movies.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this TV and I couldn't be happier with it. The picture and functionality are flawless. The motion rate is phenomenal, there is absolutely no blurring while watching or playing action sequences in movies or games, and the color spectrum is gorgeous. The touch pad remote is a pretty nifty tool as well. Sony never disappoints, and this is why I remain a loyal Sony customer for over 20 years.

I decided to go with the XBR65X850C after comparing that and the XBR65X900. I was glad I made this choice. Not only was there a great savings but also a perfect picture. 4K content looks amazing and upscaled movies and HDTV look great as well. No negatives at this point.

Just bought my second Sony 4k TV for the family room. I bought a 55 inch 3D 4k TV for my master bedroom previously and loved it so much I bought a 65 in for the family room. Great Picture and upscaling . Can't wait for the 4k content to start to really appreciate this TV.

The picture is very nice, this was an open box display unit close out, on sale and the price was great. I am a sony fan, have a 55 710 also, that is why i chose this tv, the 950 model is nice but the HDR black push is not worth the cost at the moment as there is very limited use for it, and the standard is not set. 65 inch tv in 15x21 room looks awesome, great clarity, smooth motion, good black, vivid colors. Downside is you need to tune it to your room and viewing taste, this is easy to do by going through the different settings, Once that is done, sit back and enjoy. Set occassionally looses wifi settings, sony bug fix in progress, it is an android os for the tv so a little different. 2nd choice was samsung, then lg.

Excellent TV and was really easy to install. Beautiful picture and easy to use. I especially love the Smart capabilities of this unit. You can even talk to this thing! Signed up for Amazon Prime and Netflix and then dumped all my movie channels. Saving a ton of money.

We went from a Sony HD 46" to this 65" 4K Ultra. Picture is phenomenal and the ease of operation is a plus. Geek Squad came and hooked everything up to our Sony Blue Ray Home Theater system, walked us through the functions. We are extremely pleased with this purchase!

Right out of the box this TV was easy to set up. Easy to navigate the TV through the menus. The clarity is amazing I am impressed. If you want an excellent TV that has stunning clarity and is not crazy on the proce this is the TV to buy. I definitely recommend it.

Can't say enough about this TV. It just simply gives the greatest picture and amazing color to everything you watch. I have always loved Sony and they always put out an incredible product and you just can't expect anymore. And the price is great for the quality.

I did a lot of research and balanced some of the earlier negative reviews with later reviews and expert recommendations. My understanding is that software updates have improved the performance of this model relative to the early reviews. That seems to be the case. This 4K TV, while not the level of the OLED sets (and not the price of the OLED sets!), is one of the best out there for it's price! Very smooth and detailed, even on lower resolution content. With higher resolution content, one person said, "I don't see this clear in real life!" LOL. Relative to the Samsungs, it's really a matter of preference and features, though the Samsungs do seem to have a slightly more OLED look to them regarding black levels and this model does have a slight washed out look at extreme off-axis (but I don't watch it that for off-axis). One of the Sony models has persistent light leakage around the corners, so if you can avoid that model (you'll see the reviews), and Sony or Samsung will do very well. If I could, I'd give it 4.5 stars, leaving room for the more expensive OLED sets. 4 seems a little low for this.

I still have my two older sonys and they both still work great. Saw the price on this model and could not pass it up. The best and most beautiful picture ever. all of the extras on this set are AWESOME. Do not think about it just buy it. You will not be sorry.

Got this tv for Christmas picture quality is amazing. Not only easy to use but also simple. The two tvs I compared were the 65x850c (Sony) or the LG 65uf8600 very comparable if I had an extra 200.00 would have got the uf8600. I got an excellent tv regardless

Looked and researched Samsung and LG 4k versions before selecting the 65 850C model. I can pull up the 4k sample clips and the TV is just as stunning at home as in the store. I have a sony 4k camcorder which plays on this set beautifully. With qualifying reward points I got the Sony 6500 upscaling blue ray player for free. My android phone works seamlessly to stream outstanding video to this Tv. Whatever you tubes i see on phone computer will match the you tube home page on this TV. Once this TV was stuck on tuning a weak channel and a streaming show. I simply unplugged and restarted and everything is perfect. It won't upscale a poor 480 or 720 broadcast but standard HD upscaled is pretty good.

This is the first Sony TV we have ever owned and we love it!! Amazing picture, super easy to set up, and tons of bonus features that we haven't even had time to explore yet. Great TV for the money.

the set works as predicted,exceotional color. I do have a little trouble going to another input when I won't to watch a DVD. Itis alittleawakard to find the right portal some times.The sound is alot better than what the sales man said it would be. In all ,Ithink we made the right decision in buying this set.

Fairly easy to use. We have stuck with the Sony because of its dependability of other products we had. Far better than many other brands in our perspective. We have used this product for about two months and it seems to be working perfectly. The picture quality is superior to anything we have ever had before.

I love this TV. 4K is crazy good and so is regular TV and sports. Video games on my PS4 look amazing. Everything setup fast and easy. No issues so far!

I do a lot of research before I spend this much on anything. So when it came to the hdmi cords, you tube videos told me that an hdmi cord is an hdmi cord, regardless of how much it costs. So we didnt buy the 4k specific cords. We got the tv home and despite being absolutely floored by how amazing the picture quality was (even on non 4k content), we took the tv back because we were having issues with tv dropping the signal from various inputs (tivo, blu ray, etc). Got the new tv (same exact model) home and experienced the same problems. It finally dawned on us to get a new, made for 4k hdmi cord.....not one issue since. Happiest I have ever been with a TV, by a mile!!!

A very good TV, we read many many reviews before buying. The color is amazing, and compares to higher end Samsung TVs. A very nice TV, the Android TV is great as well, a bit complicated to learn all the software, but overall it's an amazing TV.

I have purchased Sony TV's for over 30 years and Sony does not disappoint. The sharpness, clarity, contrast, are all amazing. Easy to set up and the smart TV functions are easy to use. Highly recommend this TV. Now just need more 4K content.
