Solid performance, disappointed in Directv quality

I purchased an open box TV at a Best Buy store, and received an additional 10% off with the movers coupon. So for about $1200 including tax, I couldn't be happier. Didn't even think I would use the Smart TV functionality, but find myself using it daily. I am a DirecTV subscriber, and I have noticed that the upscaling from 720p is mediocre at best. Hopefully my investment will pay off as more 4K content becomes available.
