Better than I ever expected

I disagree with the comments that the "edges" of the screen were dark. The picture is very clear; I couldn't be happier. I will always take a chance with a Sony. They make great tvs.

Fantastic! Sony XBR65X810C
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My buddy owns the 55" version of this TV and suggested it to me when I was looking at upgrading from my Aquos 46" which I purchased in 2006. When I was ready to buy I kept waiting for the right time to pull the trigger and got the 65" with tax for $1007 - I was ecstatic!! This is the finest TV I've ever owned, The sharpness and color are amazing. Watching football and hockey is unreal, the picture looks just brilliant! If you're looking for the 4K content, it may be tough to find. I suggest looking at Netflix. They have some really good original shows that are done in 4K. It's really like watching TV for the first time. I would absolutely recommend this TV! It is the new centerpiece of my man-cave! Thanks Sony!

Great TV

We wanted to move up from our 1080i model. This one is wonderful. We watch many old shows as well and this TV makes them look better than we could imagine!

Nice picture and good price

I was impressed with the general options and the speed of the smart TV functions. The sound is ok - and even though the picture is good, I see a lot of soap opera effect on content.
