Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.picture is so dark it's pointless to turn it on. yes there is a picture but it is so dark you can't see any detail. can not use an HDMI cable because i get a content protection warning. the sony set is connected to the same directv box with the same HDMI cable as my 2011 Panasonic plasma. - I have none of those problems with the Panny (why aren't they making TV's?) but because of the content protection warning I can't even use an HDMI cable with this 4k Sony - instead i am using ancient tech component cable. i dread hauling this huge box back to best buy, but in its present condition it is useless. maybe someone can shed some light on this matter and save me some heavy lifting and a 70-mile drive! the photo is a normally well lit scene from An Officer and a Gentleman.

Great 4k for the money....and Sony didn't skimp

Nice quality build and easy to use remote. Just as good or better then Samsung and LG. Would Highly recommend this 4K if you are shopping for good Value.
