Not issues it all. Probably the best tv i ever had

The picture is clear until there is movement especially with action. I have returned the Tv once due to the issue and the second one is doing the same thing. The picture staggers and the pixels cant seem to keep up with the movement which is weird and shouldn't with the high amount of pixels in it. I have comcast HD but they do not offer 4k yet however it should not affect this. Its a bummer because the picture is beautiful on this TV.

This TV is great when it comes to the picture quality but the Android interface keeps on crashing with home button unable to lunch, Youtube app get stuck...I'm currently unable to even watch TV because I pressed the home button then the TV got stuck in the android interface....no good

Spent $1,500 at Best Buy "on sale." TV only lasted about 2 1/2 years without acting up. Little to moderate use. Had a black 8" fade on top of screen that eventually went away. TV now turns itself on /off every 10 seconds and is stuck in continuous re-boot mode. Geek squad won't answer their phone. Been on hold forever. We've tried all of the online recommendations (factory reset, un plug , reboot, etc ...

The salesperson talked me into buying a Sony, but then I later found similar LGs for lower prices, but this TV was a bit big to return. It is a bit complicated to use. The picture is decent.

I bought this TV 2 years ago and right at a year it died. Sony sent someone out and had to replace it. now another year later the replacement died. 2 years and 2 tvs and i am buying a new one. I will try again to call Sony to see if they will back their TV. $1600 for 2 years is horrible. Right now i will never buy another Sony. First and last. Best buy said they cant do anything so left hanging by everyone

I was disappointed in this tv due issues with sound would go away and had turn the tv off to get the sound back.So I returned it and purchased another tv Sony which I am very happy with.

I bought this TV for my living room, which gets a lot of sunlight and is an open floor plan. This TV naturally cannot get very bright. Additionally, the picture was unwatchable from the side. Would this TV work great in a dark basement when you are sitting dead center? Yes, but I still feel there are better sets out there. I returned this TV the very next day and purchased the Samsung JU7100 which is a far cry better in every way. I would not buy this TV again or recommend to a friend. To each their own, though

The picture has gone out on an led tv. Sony has taken almost2 weeks to replace. Supposed to be here Tuesday. Not at all happy.

I could have purchased the same TV without the smart feature and saved 400 dollars. I should have. The smart feature stopped working

Before I review the tv, there's things I learned about video. In order to get the best video quality, it depends on video source. Top quality source, top to bottom is 4k, blu Ray, over the air, some streaming service, then cable. If you use great quality videos, then 4k upscales good quality. If you use bad quality, the 4k magnifies the bad quality. I watched multiple YouTube videos 1080 that were the same content but quality wasn't the same. 4k YouTube and amazon content look good. Some can't tell the difference between 1080 upscale and true 4k. It goes to how the video is compressed for streaming. Something will be lost. I've compared transformer blu Ray vs streaming service. The sound doesn't have the same explosion AND colors don't pop as much. I compared Flash TV show netflix and Comcast ondemand. Cable compresses their video DEPENDING on the show. Also, over the air antenna generally looks better than cable(its not always 1080). My friend noticed during super bowl that antenna generally looked better. Even if you stream 4k, its still compressed so it won't be a big upgrade (vs 1080)unless you use a hard copy. The reason I talk about feed the beast(good video quality) is you might read reviews saying picture is bad(bad source). They'll say my old TV is so much better. I compared my old tv and I thought sony tv sucked ONLY with cable (lowestcsource). 4k TV will magnify bad videos. So if you have a big screen already and don't use blu Ray, see if that makes difference. TV Review My main goal for TV was overall TV quality. I only cared for colors to pop (red, blue, green) and people to look natural, not over saturated. Is for sports and movies. I only liked Sony and Samsung SUHD. Issue with Samsung was it cost more for same picture quality I like, 60hz for sports and people looked oversaturated. Be careful with Samsung panel lottery. I went to different best buy and another TV store. I asked them to show a Samsung model comparable to this, all of them said you're going into $2000 range. As far as the higher model Sony, I could tell they were nicer, but very minor for the price. I watched transformers movies on blu Ray and optimus prime blue and red really pops. The 4k upscale does really well. I also watched the super bowl and everything looked natural. I found the 4k YouTube video they use on display and it was the same as best buy(beach scene with animals) For Android OS, it works fine if you use your phone with the sony and Android TV app. The remote d pad is too small for big hands. The higher Sony comes with a special remote and it works well once you get the hang of it. Also, you can use voice recognition on your phone. If you use Chromecast, the phone recognizes the TV like it was plugged in. Sound quality is like every other TV, not that great. I'm using an inexpensive vizio soundbar and it works well. Drawbacks, not the best in large bright rooms. I put it on vivid mode to improve it. For the price and quality, I'd still get this TV.

This TV worked great for about eight months, unfortunately it started giving us error messages and the TV would shut it self off. Sometimes the picture would go black but the power indicator light would still remain on. After several calls to the Sony customer support and several software updates, factory resets and a diagnosis that required a main board replacement. Sony told me to wait for a local TV repair shop to contact me to schedule an appointment to install the new main board once it arrives. After a few months of Sony giving me the run around about waiting for the main board to arrive at the repair shop the warranty finally ran out. Once that happened Sony customer support said that they had no knowledge of a new main board being ordered and they could find nothing when they looked up my case # E645391. So we are stuck with TV that only works sometimes and are looking to purchase a new one soon to replace this broken one. Never again Sony, never again.

TV is very good with open box condition. But best buy staff broke its screw to remove stand....

Motherboard went out in less than a month not happy

its an ok tv for the price, a little underwhelming picture. tv does not have hdr

This TV was good but not great. The WiFi would get messed up and had to be reset a few times per year. Now after 4 years of good service it's not good news. Big purple area top right corner of the screen. These things should last at least 8 years for the money.

Completely quit working in under 4 years with minimal usage. Cannot figure out what's wrong, and Sony support is awful. I will never buy a Sony product again!

Every 5 min. The Volume Mutes for 1-3 seconds. Had it for 3 days then that happens right after I put it up on my wall .... Now have to spend time to call Sony because Best Buy will not do nothing about it....

Not sure what's wrong, so I'm going to perform a factory reset. The color on the tv looks terrible when watching normal tv. When I perform the color test, the images shown on the tv look amazing. Not sure why I can't get regular tv to look the same.
